Welcome to the blog "Chico's Book in Common: 'Three Cups of Tea.'" Thank you for taking part in a unique community-wide initiative.
We hope that this blog will be one of the many launching points for the larger Book in Common discussion over the next few months. This blog will hopefully tie in the many events, articles and conversations centered around the book written by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin.
We've started by including the recent Enterprise-Record articles about the project. Soon, there will be links to related material from Chico State University and beyond.
There are some other features that we're working on. We hope to include a calendar, video, chats and more. Since this is focused on the book, we may also lead discussions as the tome unfolds.
There's no one author for this blog because we would like you to get involved. If you've read "Three Cups" and would like to share your thoughts or write a review for the blog, either leave a comment to this post or send an e-mail to rolson -at- chicoer dot com.
This also goes for any questions or thoughts you might have about the book, the events depicted or themes touched by Mortenson and Relin. Your input may help shape this blog.
Thanks again for visiting this blog. I hope you enjoy reading the book.

Thanks to the Enterprise Record for terrific support of this unique County-wide reading initiative. I think this blog will add another great layer of community involvement to all of the great discussion already underway throughout Butte County. I encourage people to visit the websites of all of the participating community partners for more information as well, including:
Cheers, and happy reading!
