Julia Bergman

If you possibly can, go hear Julia Bergman tonight at the Chico Library. She's speaking at 7 p.m. (February 18).

I caught her talk last night at Chico State and came home babbling to my husband about her stories. She gives another perspective to Greg Mortenson's book and mission, and she's a wonderful story-teller, besides. I'm going to try to make it myself; I'm sure she'll have different things to talk about tonight from what she talked about last night. In fact, she kept interrupting herself, as she told her story, saying "But that's another 10-minute story," then resuming what she intended to tell us.
Most enjoyable, educational, interesting and thought-provoking.

The Chico Branch Library enjoyed an evening of stories with Julia Bergman, Wednesday, February 18th. Julia captivated the crowd of all ages with her warm storytelling. Three sizeable donations were made to Pennies for Peace (penniesforpeace.org) and Julia expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Chico community for their support. Many thanks to our dear library friend, John Few, for arranging this wonderful visit with Julia Bergman.
