There have been many interesting letters to the editor in
this election cycle, making many good points.  It is nice to see the community engaging in local
politics.  Too bad it is wasted on
such a gratuitously divisive ballot initiative.

I was fortunate enough to attend the League of Women Voters debate on the
ballot initiative for this June simply titled ‘Measure A’.  It was an excellent resource for the
