No ticky, no worky. No worky... NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! ! !
If you don't think the gov. has your number already, think again, you been fingerprinted and licensed since birth, the problem is regular people like us being able to use a system for identification. The government already has their ways...we have zip! Driver's license are too easy to get and too easy to fake. Soc. Sec. isn't legal for ID purpose. So what do we do for ID...trust and hope?
What a standardized American ID card would do is allow an employer to know a person's status before hiring. He may hire him anyway, but at least we've given that citizen the ability to know the difference between an illegal and a legal.
This could be a big help in keeping our country from being overrun by illegals and displacing our legal workers, many whom are legal Hispanics struggling to get ahead the legal way.
