Barack Hussein Obama won over the mostly black voters of Selma, Alabama, when he took on the “persona” of an oppressed black male descended from slaves. No, he didn’t actually say this, he just acted the part and tried to relate to his audience and this resonated very well for him. He’s got the gift…he hit em hard with glorious analogies of how his future was saved by Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement. He pounded them with his gut wrenching gratitude for Rosa Parks an Alabama native … and in the grand finale’ of, “I’m An Oppressed Black Just Like You.” he had the audience on their feet in cheering as he decried, I’m your son come home! Even though he was born in Hawaii, hey, close enough for politics.
This performance was hard to match, but Hillary gave it a good try. She took the stage for her own crowd and praised Obama, sung
the virtues of the black civil rights movements that made it possible for a black man to run for president despite all odds and then she wove her own story into the praises as a member of another oppressed minority, women.
Her finale’ ended with something to the effect, democrats are going to protect your children and we’re going to take “it” back! “It” being a reference to the riches allegedly stolen by the great white male conspiracy of conquest and exploitation of women, children and minorities, a theme often heard in college history classes. How she was going to protect/save the children was not stated, nor did she say what she was protecting/saving them from, but that didn’t matter as much as Hillary saying she was going to save the children! Crowds like to hear that stuff.
Barack Obama will be staring in a new play “I’m Middle-Class Just Like You” opening in New York in a few days.
It’s about a warm consensus builder, a moderate kind of person who appeals to the middle-class voters as one of them. Hillary stared in this same play several years ago where it received high praise. Thanks to that performance Hillary was given a golden “Senator” award by her adoring fans.
I can’t wait to see who they will become next, acting just doesn’t get any better than this! So, stay tuned as these veteran actors battle for your vote! Now lets go save the children…
