I wanted to ignore this storyits such a bummer! The first female Speaker of the House proves (again!) that a matriarchal approach to war is, welljust terribly silly! Her feminized tac isn’t new, it’s been with us since the first flower child offered a daisy for the Vietnam Peace Surge, but it must be exposed for the fairy tale that it is before we all perish spiritually for lack of simple survival ethics.
Like a mother offering a bribe of cookies and milk, Pelosi promises that the president can have his hundred billion dollars for the Iraq warif:
1. He brings the troops home by the fall of 2008 and
2. He cleans his room and puts on his jammies without a fight.
In typical mommy fashion she then shakes her finger and warns that the:
timetable for withdrawal would be accelerated if the government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki did not meet goals for providing for Iraq’s security.
Still, she is a mommy and so…softening, offers a soothing further incentivehe can have an extra 1.6 billion for military operations in AfghanistanIF:
