“A new counter-terrorism phrasebook has been drawn up within UK’s Whitehall to advise civil servants on how to talk to Muslim communities about the nature of the terror threat without implying they are specifically to blame. Reflecting the government’s decision to abandon the “aggressive rhetoric” of the so-called war on terror, the guide tells civil servants not to use terms such as Islamist extremism or jihadi-fundamentalist but instead to refer to violent extremism and criminal murderers or thugs to avoid any implication that there is an explicit link between Islam and terrorism.”
I’ve got a phrase for Whitehall, you can dress a pig in bloomers, but it’s still a pig. Why would anyone except some liberal bureaucrat even try to avoid the obvious link between Islam and terrorism? There is a link! Let’s be real, lives are on the line here. We can’t keep debating stuff like this anymore.
These wacked out fantatical terrorists from the Middle East to the Balkins to Africa are bombing people around the world and they are NOT Baptists or Whirling Dervishes, they are devout Muslims, they are proud of it and make no pretences to hide it. Al Qaeda has published a formal declaration of war on the USA and repeatedly called for the death of every man, woman or child that happens to be an American.
<Tack on words like Islamic-extremists, Islamofacist, Islamic-Jihadists or Islamic-whatever, but they are still Muslims and that's a fact. It a matter of, not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims, kind of thing here. We shouldn't even try to argue this religious link at this late date with the tones of bloody mangled evidence before our eyes, to do that is like being hyper-sensitive to the point of stupid.
