Can’t Trust Polling

With roughly 100 days before Election Day, Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama holds his highest lead ever against GOP rival John McCain, according to a new Gallup poll. The survey shows Obama at 49 percent and McCain at 40 percent.

De Ja Vu….It was June of 1988 and Gov. Michael S. Dukakis held a 15-point lead over Vice President Bush in an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, largely on the strength of overwhelming support for Mr. Dukakis among women.
