Tea Party Meeting Tuesday

The Chico Tea Party will meet Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 7 pm at Scrambles, 880 East Avenue, Chico, CA.

With a significant victory on November 2nd, the tea parties have led the country in telling the Congress that we are not happy with them. It is important that we stay engaged in the process because we have another two years to go. November 2012 is the next critical target.

Tea Parties all over the country are now working on accountability projects for 2011, and heading up Voter Fraud watch dog groups. This past month was the first step in lauching the Governmental Accountability Project aka GAP. If you haven’t attended the last few meetings, it does not matter, because we can assign “groupless” members to any of the GAP groups. Come and find out how you can become a member of this very important group and hear about our plans for assessing this potential problem in Butte County.

In addition to our GAP groups, we will be sharing with you our experiences and what we learned when attending TPP’s first national convention, The American Policy Summit in Phoenix on Feb. 25 – 27.

Now that the GAP groups are becoming fairly well established we will be altering our meeting format just a bit, including speakers and videos as part of our meeting format. For example, on March 22, 2011, Rep. Wally Herger will be our featured speaker for the evening.

GAP, Voter Fraud and more will help the Amercian citizen & voter to be more on top of our elected officials as we approach the next election cycle in November 2012. We can no longer be asleep at the wheel. It is easier to stay current with the voting record and proposed legislation than it is to repeal it. We cannot do this without you.

SEE YOU ON TUESDAY, MAR. 8TH AT SCRAMBLES!
