Title this one, “Muslim Brotherhood can’t take a joke”. One of the Arab world’s best known Egyptian comedians has been sentenced to three months in jail for offending Islam, a judge said Thursday, in the latest such case against a high-profile figure, underlining concerns about freedom of expression in Egypt controlled by the moronic Muslim Brotherhood.

In other news, Egypt is attempting to bring false chargers against 19 American’s for their involvement in a pro-democracy, civil rights effort.

Ignoring a U.S. threat to cut off aid, Egypt on Sunday referred 19 Americans and 24 other employees of nonprofit groups to trial before a criminal court on false accusations they illegally used foreign funds to foment unrest in the country.

A US army officer has accused the American military of painting a misleading picture of progress in the war in Afghanistan.

Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis turned whistleblower and broke ranks with the official portrayal of the Afghan war after he ‘witnessed the absence of success on virtually every level.’

‘How many more men must die in support of a mission that is not succeeding?’ Colonel Davis asked in an article titled ‘Truth, Lies and Afghanistan: How Military Leaders Have Let Us Down.’

‘No one expects our leaders to always have a successful plan,’ he said in the article. ‘But we do expect and the men who do the living, fighting and dying deserve to have our leaders tell us the truth about whats going on.
