If anyone ever needed evidence that we are dealing with crazies and idiots, it’s stuff like this: A lone (Afghan) gunman walks passed the heavily armed Afghan guards, right into a Afghan government building in the heart of Kabul. Then he shoots to death to two American military advisers and calmly walks away and disappears into the population. How could this happen without our Afghan “friends” being in on it?
This happened earlier today as protests over the burning of the Koran at a U.S. base raged across the country. The NATO commander believed it was no longer safe for any international military personnel to be working inside any Afghan ministries and he ordered them removed.
President Barack Obama took swift action and offered a heartfelt apology for the accidental Koran burning. Afghanistan’s President (Krazy) Karzai offered no apologies for the deaths of the Americans. Unfortunately, Obama’s plea for forgiveness failed to quell the outrage. His apology stopped short of mentioning, much less condemning, the murders of the four Americans since the start of this mob scene with thousands of Afghans on a rampage. After what we’ve done for their country we deserve better.
At least 28 people have been killed and hundreds wounded since Tuesday, a testament to the brutal and savage mindset that has kept this country stuck in the dark ages.
