They’re baa-aack and ready to boycott everybody: banks, business, and even school. They want people the world over to stop participating to show those productive giants the world over whose boss. The entire gang of misfits and miscreants will come out in force brandishing menacing signs and shouting slogans for fairness, redistribution, and free stuff. Bloomberg has a list of their stated goals:
Organizers describe the May Day events as a coming together of the Occupy movement, with activists also calling for more open immigration laws, expanded labor rights and cheaper financing for higher education. Financial institutions remain a primary target of the protests.
Good grief, they remind me of a a bunch of two year olds balling up their little fists, demanding cookies, and screaming, “no, no, no!” in defiance. They say that corporate greed is the problem but anothers greed can’t stop anyone from creating a good life for himself and covetousness is no substitute for greed.
May 1st, the traditional communist workers holiday, is the day this bunch has chosen to launch what will become a long hot summer of mayhem. When many of these low-life’s suddenly discover the need to look for work I suggest they start by asking one of their comrades…someone like this:
IF THESE PEOPLE SUCCEED IN ACTUALLY BRINGING DOWN BANKS AND BUSINESSES WE’LL ALL BE WORKING FOR PEANUTS AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE THE ONLY EMPLOYER LEFT STANDING…WHO WILL FUND THE REDISTRIBUTION AND FREEBIES THEN?
It’s occutard season, we should find a tree to hang them from I mean in.
Do you really want to start playing the “crazy protest sign” game? Because I could find tons of Tea Party signs that are far worse than…whatever it is that the woman in that picture is holding. Not sure if that was supposed to be your example of a “menacing” sign, but if you feel menaced by it then I think you need to get out more. 😉
Also, it’s a little misleading for you to simply describe May 1 as the “traditional communist worker’s holdiay.” It’s called International Worker’s Day and is recognized by labor movements in many different countries.
