Another Jackson on the Skids

In that wonderland of gangsters and corrupt politicians that we call Chicago, home of Al Capone, comes another sleezy story of sex and corruption:

The son of Rev. Jesse Jackson, the right dishonorable Congressman Jesse Jackson jr. is under FBI investigation involving the flagrant abuse of campaign contributions…uh, for things other than his re-election campaign. The most notable was a $40,000 Rolex he purchased for his young girlfriend who was often his travelling companion on these wild 5 star taxpayer funded junkets. On the hill, you got the power and that means you got the money, government and others. That’s how so many of them become overnight mililonaires will drawing a salary of $174,000 a year. Forget the generous perks…I bet you would be thrilled to earn half that salary, huh?

I digress, but it amazes me how these public figures always think they can get away with their corruption. Especially so when their adultery includes taking the ho with them on taxpayer paid vacations! Now that takes some kind of confidence. But, spending tons of money straight from your campaign warchest, that rarely goes unnoticed…in Jackson’s case $40k for a Rollie for the bimbo. Now that is the height of arrogance!!! Wonder how this plays out with the constituents back home? Do they really care as long as they get their cut?

Prior to the latest FBI corruption investigation the younger Jackson was closely linked to Gov. Rod Blagojevich who was recently convicted for trying to sell a Congressional seat vacated by one of his democratic pals.

Despite the persistent allegations of criminal conduct, the Congressman was re-elected in a landslide by those loyal, but dumb as a stump, supporters who dismissed the allegations as just pure B.S.!

They actually believed Jackson. They totally bought his story of innocense and being victimized by “the man”. They also accepted his story about illnesses that caused him to be a mostly absentee Congressman. His terrible intestinal problems and his bouts with bi-polar disorder caused him to miss most of the action on the Hill. Jackson actually hijacked these disorders and used them to garner sympathy (and large donations of cash) from his most ardent supporters.

Now it looks like Jackson is trying to broker a plea deal on the heavy felonyl charges. We can assume he is also trying to broker a deal with his pissed-off wife and kids over the other woman episode. A women kept in high style via his generous taxpayer funded payroll and deals made with “friends.” Wonder if he gives similar lavish gifts to the little wifey? Probably, he can afford it, afterall he’s worth millions thanks mostly to his family practice of race baiting blackmail and extortion of American businesses. Thats gone on for decades, hasn’t it? In this case the ol apple sure fell close to the tree.

Yes, Jesse Jackson Jr. was quite the role model when it came to “Chicago style politics.” First off, he’s black with a famous name related to civil rights, so naturally he’s locked up 70% of the black vote by virtue of that alone. But, as a bonus, he’s well spoken, well educated. extremely well financed through two generations of race extortion schemes and he’s flexible…meaning in Chicago, that the man is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

So there you go…that locks up about 99% mob, black and liberal vote in his district. Given his fabulous political credentials and his Dad’s name, I’m surprised he didn’t run for president. But, thank God he didn’t and we got the next runner up from Chicago, Barack Obama. Lucky us.
