IRS Targetting Scandal Update

Posted by Tina

The IRS scandal is unique in American history. As Monica Crowley has rightly observed, for the first time an abuse of power has been used against ordinary citizens. In the past such abuses were always directed toward fellow elites in Washington DC. The American people must not let this abuse stand unchallenged. Both parties must be given a stern warning that “we the people” will not tolerate such abuses. Powerline reports that evidence of Washington DC orchestration continues to fall out as the Department of Justice and Senator Carl Levin are named:

New documents obtained by Judicial Watch demonstrate conclusively that the IRS policy of targeting tea party and conservative groups came directly from Washington D.C., not a rogue office in Cincinnati. They also show that Sen. Carl Levin was working with the IRS to make sure tea party and conservative groups were targeted for harassment.

Read Judicial Watch article here.

Judicial Watch has been able to obtain these documents through the powers of the freedom of information act. Congressional hearings chairs have not been as successful in petitioning the administration or its various departments that have stonewalled investigations.

Huh? Who do you think you are kidding with this “we the people” platitude? “We the people” includes the progressive DemocRat left that endorses and enables this sort of policy.

I prefer rule by democratic republic law to the “law” of the mob and mob thug leaders.

    Agreed.

It’s simply a warning; get on board or get out (go away).

This administration has really lowered the bar in terms of abuse for partisan/party gain. It is, if not the most, one of the most activist administrations evah!

It doesn’t seem to be going over well either!

Remember, there will always be a few rats running around.

Could this, from the wealthy, spoiled, give me government condoms debutant, be true?

Sandra Fluke: ‘‘I’d rather be a captive Nigerian girl than touched by a Republican’’

Pie, for someone who claims to be doing satire, you sure don’t recognize it when you see it.

This is the website that the Fluke quote comes from:

    http://www.duhprogressive.com/

There you can see such headlines as “White House Hires O.J. Simpson to Find Real Perpetrators of Benghazi” and “Target Stores to Stop Selling Cotton-Made Products Due to Crop’s Role in Slavery.”

Amazingly, many conservatives on the web have been fooled by this quote and have been spreading it around.

What was that I was saying the other day about verifying the credibility of your sources?

    Oh yeah: do it.

Re #4 Hitler Youth : Idiot. I asked a question. Where did I even imply this was credible. Funny, yes.

Jeopardy Question: Which cabinet post in the Obumble administration does NOT have a scandal attached?

    Jeopardy Answer: What is “None”

  7. Pie Guevara says:

The two idiots seem to think I didn’t get that bit from the source.

All of the following also busted:

    Judicial Watch

    NewsMax

    Washington Free Beacon

    Washington Post

    Washington Post

    CBS News

    Washington Examiner:

ProPublica, a left-leaning nonprofit organization that does investigative journalism, often sharing it with outlets like the Washington Post, offers its own revelation on the news that the Internal Revenue Service was targeting Tea Party groups. It was the recipient of some of the IRS documents. These were documents that even ProPublica admits the IRS should not have been giving out according to the agency’s own rules:

The same IRS office that deliberately targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year.
