I feel stupid writing that headline, to me it has been obvious all along. I mean, do we really need a poll to inform us that Muslims would rather live without terrorists in their midst? Well, I guess we do when a certain segment of our population insists on pretending that, A. There are no radical Muslim terrorists waging war currently or in history for that matter, and/or, B. Anyone who says there is, and dares talk about it, is a racist and bigot, or correctly identifying Muslim terrorists is bigoted and racist. Such is the crazy nature of language and politics in our society.
Of course Muslims around the world hate terrorism!
Those who need a poll can check in with Pew Global.
One of the most effective and necessary elements in fighting an enemy is a solid counter force that is willing to proclaim its opposition firmly and unwaveringly. Muslims suffer when Americans refuse to name the enemy and then firmly and unequivocally oppose it. The operative question…are you with us? I’ll know peace and freedom loving Muslims are.
The Muslims SHOULD be worried. They’re being tarred by the terrorist brush by the jihadists, yet they remain deafeningly silent on murder committed in the name of their religion.
They haven’t figured out yet that power corrupts absolutely, and they could be next.

There is no segment of our population that believes either of these things. You subsist on strawman arguments as if they’re water.
Chris have you read any of Libby’s comments on this subject?
Yes, Tina. I don’t agree with everything she’s said, but not once has she implied that “there are no Muslim terrorists waging war currently or in history,” or that “anyone who says there is, or dares talk about it, is a racist and bigot, or correctly identifying Muslim terrorists is bigoted and racist.”
This is a completely dishonest interpretation of her comments, and I am fairly sure you’re aware of that.
For me the middle east is the perfect example on why we have the 11th amendment.
Separation of Church and state was well thought out given religious war history
My goodness gracious!!! “I don’t agree with everything she’s said …”
A crack forms in the cabal of morons.
Pie, I’ve disagreed with Libby and criticized certain statements of hers since before you even started posting here, and vice versa. Liberals are not a hive mind. You and Tina have been disagreeing on the extent of the poor treatment of Native Americans over the past few days and you don’t see me gloating about it.
Chris: “There is no segment of our population that believes either of these things.”
Could have fooled me. In every discussion on this blog and elsewhere the moment Islamic terrorism comes up out too come the accusations that we are Islam-phobic, bigoted, or at the least talking about “all Muslims” rather than radicals and terrorists. It’s knee jerk and quite predictable.

Then perhaps you need to look at the way you’re talking about these issues. You do commonly use language which sounds like you are generalizing about all Muslims, or at the very least implying that the religion as a whole shares blame for the radicals’ behavior.
Perhaps you need to grow up and figure it out for yourself. If you can find language that I can use that won’t make you make assumptions based on your PC ear I’d be happy to use it. Any suggestions?
If posting the writings of Muslims who love freedom and America, if writing about the sacrifices made by Muslims helping our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, if making distinctions between terrorists and peace and freedom loving individuals doesn’t convince you that I am not bigoted, then there is no way to convince you in my mind.
At some point you just have to take a leap and trust that I do not hate Muslims; I hate terrorists…and I love freedom and want others who are oppressed to have freedom! (It is from that that my passion derives…not hate)

Ummm, I am gloating? I am??? No surprise there from the f***wit who loves to insert his feeble brained and bizarre projections on others.
No, you have not been “disagreeing” with tina, you have been pissing on her, as is your usual practice.
