Well of course we fall into the category of blog, that goes without saying. But, beyond that we are really a free speech podium and we have always been a free speech podium. Free speech is core principle of this site. And it why we encourage comments from readers and post them even when they are highly critical of us or are really stupid and lame.
We thrive on diversity of thought from foreign policy decisions to local government issues. We readily admit we have a conservative bias, so what? Everyone has a bias whether are willing to admit it or not and we’re not here to act as independent judges of the truth. We exist for intellectuals to find and share facts, post and hear opinions that you may not find anywhere else. We are seekers of information that goes well beyond the headlines.
We do not pretend to present, unbiased, balanced views on anything, we only promise to tell it like we see it, biased or not.
We’re not partisan hacks, we’re individuals with individual core values. We like to think we have an open mind that lead to free will discussions. That freedom means we also reserve the right to be critical of the right OR THE LEFT. We hope you won’t label us as sellouts or traitors to your cause when we do because we’re just being true to ourselves. We hope you will respect that. The only cause we truly represent is our embracing of free speech. Sometimes that means we will have commentary from mindless morons or extremist drones spouting their party line…that’s okay. If we stupid people post stupid things, from time to time, we see this as analogous to the canary in the coal mine. It proves free speech is alive and well here, even if we must take strong exception to stupid comments.

Sounds like you may be coming down a case of leftious myopicness – a serious selective vision problem that spreads to the ears and then the brain. Fortunately for some there’s a cure if caught early enough, but sadly I think your case may be hopeless.
