A debate with a liberal. . .
Author of The Call to Teach and editor of The Edvocate:
I am loyal to the Democratic Party and to my president, but I am not blind, deaf or dumb. I recognize that Obama has made more than one controversial decision and rocked the boat a time or two during his presidency. Sure, he has committed his share of blunders and tripped over his own words from time to time. But, there isn’t a president in American history who didn’t flub up big time at some point during his administration. While I acknowledge he has made a number of mistakes in recent years, I stand firm in my conviction that Barack Obama is one of the greatest presidents America has ever seen. I believe history will prove this, and with time, he will be remembered in the annals of history as a revered revolutionary.
Here are 12 reasons why Obama is one of the best presidents ever:
1. He is for The People. Say what you will about Barack Obama, but unlike the many presidents who preceded him, he cares about what is best for the greater good. He truly does represent The People. His actions have always been motivated by a sincere desire to do what is best for the majority, even if it meant losing ground with the wealthy, influential or powerful minority.
He absolutely does not represent all the people equally. He was barely in office when he inserted himself in the case of two white police officers from the Cambridge Police Dept. verses Obama’s friend, Henry Louis Gates. Obama immediately went public and criticized the officers and the arrest. As it turned out the officers were only doing their job and Gates escalated a routine police call and this resulted in a disorderly conduct charge that was later dropped in the interests of justice. He did it again in the case of Trayvon Martin and used his friend Eric Holder to do a reinvestigation because he didn’t trust the findings of the police department. A subsequent trial acquitted the defendant George Zimmerman. Afterwards Eric Holder, Barack Obama and Eric Holder would be accused of misrepresenting the facts which led to inciting racial tensions, remember “”If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon” speech? Obama has repeatedly demonstrated a racial bias.
2. He is for civil rights. He has consistently spoken on behalf of the disenfranchised, the underdog and the most controversial members of society -despite the fact that it was politically unpopular to do so at the time. His outspoken support of gay marriage is an excellent example. Gay marriage is, and has always been, a legal and civil rights issue -not a moral one as conservatives would have you believe. Obama’s open support of gay marriage speaks to his core values and his inherent belief that there truly should be justice for all.
Obama might be for civil rights, but has done a lot of damage to civil rights. His bungling and meddling has incited racial tensions in some regions not seen since the 60’s. But, overall one thing is clear, Obama is for Obama. His goals are ideological driven and for political advantage, even though they may not be practical or good for the public. Barack Obama’s overriding concerns seem to be A) is this good for me? B) Is this good for the Democrat Party? C) Is this good for liberalism? Civil rights and moving forward with race equality was damaged under his administration.
3. He is for one race -the human race. In just a few short years, Obama’s professional achievements and continued demonstration of equality and integrity have done wonders for race relations. America has never been more unified as a people than it has been under the direct leadership of Barack Obama. Finally, the racial lines that have divided blacks and whites for decades seem to be narrowing.
He’s not for one race! This guy plays the race card whenever it’s convenient or advantageous. Look at what have we been saying here! His public insertion into low level criminal cases of alleged white on black crimes speak volumes about the chip on his shoulder – however, he has never been equally critical when it’s a black on white racial attack, even when a racist motive was stated by the suspect/s. Blacks get a pass, whites get investigated.
4. He is for a healthcare system that brings hope and healing to the hurting. Obama’s healthcare plan has allowed uninsured Americans to reap the benefits of a universal healthcare system. A suffering child should never be turned away because his or her mother doesn’t have health insurance. To deny medical assistance to people who desperately need it is barbaric. Obama’s health care plan has placed America among the world’s greatest superpowers who demonstrate care and compassion toward its constituents with healthcare that serves all.
This one is a complete joke because of his lack of transparency and lies. Obama brought us one of the most costly healthcare boondoggles in history. However, he compounded his blunders by failing to admit his mistakes or living up to his pledge for transparency. His ill conceived healthcare plan (ACA) was deliberately crafted to hide the truth and fool the public, even his own healthcare architect admitted it! Obama has been exposed as a person who would say and do anything to get his ACA bill passed, even lie to the American public. “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period.”.” And “The average American family will save over $2500 a year.” They couldn’t and they didn’t. Costs went up and coverage went down. “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period.”
“I will not sign a [health care] plan that adds one dime to our deficits.” — Barack Obama, September 2009 The Government Accountability Office’s long-term projection reveals Obamacare raises the deficit over $1 trillion.
The president originally claimed Obamacare would reduce the deficit by $100 billion in the first decade. Aiding and abetting this lie was Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who buried her own report that showed Obamacare would cost $400 billion more than promised in the first decade.
”I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital-gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” — Barack Obama, September 2008
Mr. Obama is now a Supreme Court-certified tax-raiser, which means his outright dishonesty has been validated by the high court as well. Despite the president’s public assurances to the contrary, his administration argued and five Supreme Court justices agreed that the individual-mandate penalty — the linchpin of Obamacare — is not actually a penalty, but is in fact a tax. What’s more, Obamacare contains 20 new or higher taxes on everything from pharmaceuticals and MRI scanners to tanning salons and the sale of your home.
Another four incredibly wrong and stupid statements by the famous liberal democrat Mathew Lynch, Ed.D, will be debunked tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Good responses Jack.
My two cents:
1. President Obama does not represent all of the people. His platform is inevitably divisive. Redistribution requires that some pay as others are awarded. His adoption of the Elizabeth Edwards assertion, “You didn’t build that,” covertly pits the government against the business owner. His attack on the coal industry singles out Americans that own those businesses and work in that industry to be losers. Obama has been all about picking winners and losers.
2. President Obama was elected to be President not a civil rights activist or lawyer. His intervention has served to further divide the nation and further signal he does not serve the people but only some of the people. (He also changed his mind on gay marriage a move seen as political even if it was genuinely personal…his wife made him do it) I’ve never experienced a president that so blatantly served himself, his party, and his ideology with such vigor.
3. Jack, you’ve got this covered. I’d also say Obama is also extremely class oriented but perhaps that will be covered tomorrow.
4. He cares about the dependency and power associated with healthcare. He was happy to once again pick winners and losers by giving freebies to some Americans while sticking others with the bill. Also the affect this has had on jobs and future job creation has hurt as many people and will continue to impact people for years to come. The cost of the law does not justify the few it has helped in terms of job losses, higher taxes, higher premiums and co-pays, stifling of the economy and debt creation into the future are a heavy price to pay when the problems we had could have been solved with a much simpler law.
The left seems content to fly a big banner in their arrogant parade without noticing the trash they’re leaving behind as they congratulate themselves for their brilliance. They certainly don’t consider or have concern for those harmed by their positions and works.
We are stuck with Obama for another 2 years and he’s going to do a lot of damage with presidential orders. the funny thing is nobody else in the world is afraid of Obama except for us. thats a heck of a thing.
Is it weird that I vehemently disagree with both of you? I have always defended Obama from specious attacks, but this guy’s perception of him is embarrassingly rosy.
While I appreciate his position as the first president to openly support gay marriage, as well as his work repealing the embarrassingly ridiculously Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, he’s hardly a leader on these issues–he only stepped forward on them when it became obvious that the majority of Americans agreed with him.
And “Americans have never been more united as a people?” Dafuq? What planet does this guy live on? In many ways the first black president has presided over increasing divisions in America. I don’t blame him for this, as I think Jack’s opinions on the incidents cited are completely wrong, but there’s no denying that under his presidency an ugly form of racism has come to the surface. And partisan divisions are greater than they’ve been in decades, due mostly to the Republican party swinging wildly to the right.
So this guy really has no idea what he’s talking about, but then, neither do his most aggressive critics.
Liberal claptrap and one of the reasons the Demwits lost the midterms.
And they haven’t learned anything since they re-elected Pelosi & Reid to leadership positions.
Aaron’s comment is interesting. Obama was once idealized by almost a cult-following of socially dependent people and coupled with those independent voters who were still fooled by Obamas Pied-Piper charm gave him a second term. Now we are all paying a price for the political system that has a life of it own, if only for it principle player, those we elect, but instead of effective leader, what we have in Obama a narcissist.
If Obama has any claim to greatness(and that is a oxymoron of major proportions in my opinion) it might be that American voters are slowly realizing that a flashy smile, coupled with speeches with no basis or foundation are not what makes effective leadership.
Work ethics and understanding of our capitalist economy,is what keeps America working. Not the previously proven failures of socialism that is championed by Obama.
We have also realized that anything that may improve our economy will never come from Obama’s White House, now we have to depend on a new congress mix lead by the GOP to effectively approach problems and produce viable solutions.
Should this new Majority of GOP unite(starting within)a divided Congress,(created by Pelosi, Reid and Obama)to finally produce legislation for the peoples betterment, than Obamas final years should be relegated to ones of benefit for the American public, and not so much his hubris.
First, there is the truly seething resentment. Then there is the terror. You truly are terrified of black people. Your responses simply reek of it.
Why do you have to see these incidents in terms of blackness versus whiteness? The cops in this country are increasingly out of control. The flash grenade in the crib I found particularly heinous. There have been incidents all over the country, almost daily. There was that white boy who got pounded just a few days ago for refusing to permit a groundless search of his car. Step back … if you can.
And then there are the factual inaccuracies. When the O-man made his assertion re taxes, the penalty was a penalty. You cannot call the O-man a liar because Roberts decides to call the penalty a tax.
But know what? … I’m gonna step back. You’re right. You were lied to, but us elitist pigs. See, all the time Obama is saying these things, I never believed them. Of course it was a tax. Under any fiscally responsible scenario of universal healthcare coverage, we pay the tax and we get the coverage, and the tax covers the costs … all of the costs. How could anybody believe that universal coverage would not cost?
Sadly, after his embrace of the crash criminals of Wall Street, Obama’s refusal to come clean, to push for single payer (because it’s the ONLY way to achieve truly universal coverage) was us progressives’ biggest dismay and disappointment in the man.
He shouldn’t have told you all those silly stories (that nobody with the brains god give a turtle would have believed anyway), he should have told those damned Blue Dogs the truth, and made them admit they didn’t want poor people to have healthcare coverage.
The whole thing has been sick-making from start to finish.
Libby, why do you always resort to telling me what I think or what I feel? -Jack
Americans have been dumbed down and diluted with undereducated and ignorant people. There are far more left-wing brainwashed people thanks to an administration that promises to provide freebies and all kinds of luxuries that the people think they deserve.
When Obama care kicks into full action we are going to see many things change in this country. Many full time jobs will be the first to go. Companies will lay off or place employees to part time positions rather than being forced to pay out insurance benefits.
I could go to work to today and ask every one there if they are aware of whats going on in the world and with our country. Maybe three people could tell me and the rest of them don’t really care. But they do know about free stuff that the government has been giving them, and it comes from Obama money. Its true, the average American knows more about fashion, music and sports than important issues.
These are the people voting for the future of our nation. God help us though he cant because this is the godless and American hating country we have become. -Cassandra
Anybody care to comment on what comment on what Cassandra said? She wants to know and asked me to ask you.
“There are far more left-wing brainwashed people thanks to an administration that promises to provide freebies ….”
Hold the phone. Didn’t I, a leftie, concede that it would cost. Did you not hear? Can you not read?
As to your co-workers, that’s for you to work on. See what you can do.
“Libby, why do you always resort to telling me what I think or what I feel? ”
I tell you what I observe. The Shrub interceded over his daughters on a few occasions. Jimmy interceded over his hapless brother. Did you get yourself into a snit over any of that? I observe that your distress is racially motivated. I don’t think I’m the only one.
Libby, you say he is working towards a goal of illuminating ISIS or was that illiminating, I forget? (snicker) Actually, I thought they (white house dopes) were trying to contain ISIS or something like that? Well, whatever, his plans seem to change day by day. And those comments are what I picked up in a few minutes of research for Chris. He asked me to help him understand Obama’s status…he was confused.
The O-man isn’t as popular overseas today as he was a year ago, and his numbers keep falling. Not that I care what others think about us, but when it gets in the way of diplomacy and America’s security… it’s a downer.
And no Libs, I’m not anywhere near distressed, not fearful, not angry – I’m actually a real secure, confident and happy kind of guy 98% of my day. Very content with my existence! I have a life beyond this blog and I really enjoy my life. About the only time I get a bit depressed is when I hear that democrats or Obama just did something really stupid and I’ve adjusted to that years ago, hardly even phases me any more. No…I’m just a go along to get along kind of guy for the most part. Your race card comment doesn’t even rate a come back…sorry, but it really doesn’t.
Chris: “Libby, you say he is working towards a goal of illuminating ISIS or was that illiminating, I forget? (snicker) Actually, I thought they (white house dopes) were trying to contain ISIS or something like that? Well, whatever, his plans seem to change day by day. I’m still confused. I asked you what objective evidence exists that Obama’s international popularity is low compared to other presidents. Unsourced comments that you read online are not objective evidence.
Chris, you asked – I complied. But, you didn’t like the answer because it didn’t fit with your belief system, so now you are coming back again dismissing the citations I used. Chris I’m not going to do a thesis here. The evidence is all around you, either you choose to see or your do not. And they’re not un-sourced comments, unless you consider Times-Israel, CNN, Atlantic-Trends, Politico or Gallup Polls as un-sourced and/or trivial. However, if your tactic was to wear down your opponent with inane questioning, then rejoice, you win.
Jack, perhaps one of your comments just isn’t showing up for me; I literally don’t see where you have cited any poll numbers or any of the sources you claim to have cited showing that Obama’s international approval rating is lower than previous presidents. I see where you made these claims, but I don’t see any citations for them. So unless I’m missing something, you didn’t provide the objective evidence I asked for. My goal has never been to wear anyone down and I think my questions are completely fair.
Well of course you do! But, I spent my personal time searching the web to demonstrate the plethora of information out here to support my opinion for you. You don’t like the answer, okay, I get it. However, my reply was not a doctoral thesis. This is just a blog and I gave you the sources. You need only Google them (CNN, Gallup, etc.) with the quote and read the whole article. That’s as far as I’m prepared to go.
“That’s as far as I’m prepared to go.”
So…copying and pasting actual links is a bridge too far for you? That’s an unreasonable burden?
Wow. That’s a new level of laziness.
Forgive me for the doctoral thesis–since apparently that is what actually citing your sources equates to now–but these recent polls show strong international approval for Obama relative to the Bush administration.

Libby: “When the O-man made his assertion re taxes, the penalty was a penalty. You cannot call the O-man a liar because Roberts decides to call the penalty a tax.”
Roberts called the penalty a tax because the O man’s law was badly written and his lawyers argued both that it was a penalty and a tax (On different days)
CNS posted a great article that exposes the tortured language in the law and the tortured way the SC was forced to look at it.
In the end, then, for those who actually have to pay it for exercising their freedom in not buying the health insurance the government says they “shall” buy, it is neither a “penalty” nor a “tax,” but merely a required “payment to the IRS.”
The dissenting view reveals more of the contrivance of Obamacare:
Roberts at one point said in exasperated tones the problem would have to be fixed by the people.
Unfortunately the people were deceived, the people were not given the truth…until now.

Chris is delusional about the divide in America. As always he is limited in his understanding by the conditioning of race and gender “education.”
Obama has purposely chosen to divide this nation by serving minorities and special interest activists at the expense of others and inserting himself into local issues siding with race baiting individuals and the radically extreme left, the New Black Panthers, for instance.
He has taken quite a few anti-business positions and even adopted that ridiculous, “You didn’t build that,” Warren meme. He has not governed the nation and the people but has positioned himself as a political ruler over the people. Redistribution, picking winners and losers, promoting a race agenda when there is none is not governing the whole of the people.
Libby: “How could anybody believe that universal coverage would not cost?”
Many of us saw it, warned about it, and explained in great detail that it would cost MORE than they were saying. It is despicable that the party you support and admire so willingly and purposefully chose unbridled deceit to convince people it was a great law.
“…he should have told those damned Blue Dogs the truth, and made them admit they didn’t want poor people to have healthcare coverage.”
Nice try genius! The truth would have gone something like this:
We’re going to pass a healthcare law that will cost many of you a truckload of money so that we can get other people covered. Many of you will lose your insurance and your doctors and will have to pay higher premiums, deductibles and co-pays. We’re also going to pay doctors less for their work and force all kinds of new and costly regulations down their throats. Next we’re going to make young people buy insurance whether they want it or not and if they don’t we’re going to withhold the money they overpaid on their taxes every year. We’re going to pay people to enroll people in state run and federal exchanges and pay them fat salaries to do the work; some of those people will be Planned Parenthood and Acorn. We’re going to impose a big tax on medical devices so that old folks that need knee and hip replacement, disabled children, and our wounded returning vets finance healthcare for everyone…it’s a hidden tax that raises the cost of the surgery or product nobody will really notice, pretty sneaky huh? Oh, and it will put many small businesses that sell devices out of business; the big corporations will do fine. When all is said and done a lot of people still won’t have insurance but the good news is, a lot of people who aren’t even Americans will be covered at taxpayer expense. The best news of all is that it will only add a few trillion to our debt over the first ten years. Of course in the past such projections have proved to be too low, totally wrong, but hey, this just feels good so you won’t mind, right? Let’s do this thing.
Keep trying to maneuver yourself to a winning position Libs, it’s amazing to watch.
Gallup Headline, “Fewer Americans Think Obama Respected on World Stage”
Yahoo News, “UKIP Leader Nigel Farage: Obama Lowered America’s Standing In The World”
Real Clear Politics, “Krauthammer: Our Standing In The World Is Lower Than When Obama Came Into Office”
Pew Poll:Americans Believe US Standing in the World is Falling”
Motor City Times quotes from a Polish magazine Wprost:
Watts Up With That:
Obama has insulted our allies and created poiciy that has put the world in greater danger.
Comparisons to GWB are useless since our American media made him Satan and Obama the savior of the world. Only the radical left still thinks Obama is Mr. Wonderful and even some of them are not as impressed as they once were.
Yeah … re Post #12 …Jack, are you all right? That’s not the most coherent post you’ve ever posted.
That you insist upon a circumstance not borne out by reality … re you and Tina both, this cannot be answered or refuted … the situations do not exist.
Global warming is a fact, and the O-man has a solid international rep (well, except for the gum chewing).
Tina: “Obama has purposely chosen to divide this nation by serving minorities and special interest activists at the expense of others and inserting himself into local issues siding with race baiting individuals and the radically extreme left, the New Black Panthers, for instance.”
You are a liar. Obama never “sided” with the New Black Panthers. You know this, because you are not a drooling idiot no matter how much you feel you have to pretend to be to fit in with your party, so the only explanation is that you are purposefully lying.
“Gallup Headline, “Fewer Americans Think Obama Respected on World Stage”
Pew Poll:Americans Believe US Standing in the World is Falling””
Do you understand that neither of these polls prove anything? That they don’t justify Jack’s claim at all?
For God’s sake–Jack claimed that Obama was not respected around the world, and your evidence is to link to a poll that explicitly says Americans THINK Obama is not respected around the world? And you think that matters?
After I just linked to polls by the same goddamned organizations showing that the majority of Americans are objectively wrong on this issue?
The reason so many Americans think Obama isn’t well respected around the world despite his high international approval numbers is because people like you are lying to them.
Because you’re a liar.
“Comparisons to GWB are useless”
No, you can’t do that. You can’t claim “Obama is disrespected around the world” and then claim “Well, the fact that Bush was even more disrespected around the world doesn’t matter, because that was the fault of the mean liberals who wouldn’t shut up about little things like how he started a war on false pretenses!”
That is unmitigated bullshit.
You know this, right? Or do you lack self-awareness entirely? At this point I’m not sure the proprietors of this blog could pass a Turing Test.
Sharl Attkisson proves once again what a real journalist is.
Attkisson: Faith In Government Has Declined Due To Obama Administration Lies [VIDEO]:
http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/16/attkisson-faith-in-government-has-declined-due-to-obama-administration-lies-video/
Chris: “You can’t claim “Obama is disrespected around the world” and then claim “Well, the fact that Bush was even more disrespected around the world doesn’t matter”
Do NOT put words in my mouth. I very clearly wrote:
If you deny Obama hasn’t been promoted and protected by our press it just shows how unengaged you really are and what a tool of the radical left you’ve become!
If you likewise are going to pretend to be unaware of the vitriolic effort to undermine GWB you become a participant in the unbalanced biased denigration of the former president by our press. Example: They threw apoplectic fits over GWB spying. At the time I challenged you to find a single instance where an American was harmed by his efforts to thwart terrorist acts. Crickets! Under Obama’s leadership the spying laws, and the IRS laws, have been grossly abuse and Americans and foreign leaders have been hurt. Our press (except for new media) has been virtually silent or dismissive of the severity of the abuse. They certainly have not gone to war against Obama over the issue. There are countless others.
The activist leftist press reported Bush was disrespected. It didn’t mean that it was true.
I don’t agree that Bush was more disrespected around the world. I have always contended that Bush was respected by allies and enemies alike!!!
The argument wasn’t THAT the war was sold on false information; it was that the false information was believed and promoted by DEMOCRAT leaders and the press who latter, like traitors, weenied out and used the newly discovered facts against him. Had it been a Democrat excuses would have followed and the decision justified by the WMD evidence that was found.
The argument now is that there is no comparison to Bush who was respected by enemies and allies alike. Depending on politics no president enjoys absolute agreement or popularity…respect, however is earned. this president has not earned respect fro enemies or allies.
You lack the experience to discern the truth or detect the covert intentions of the radicals you defend so vociferously. And Chris your insults are boring and demean only you.
The cartoons featured here have been published in foreign newspapers around the world; it isn’t because they respect the guy.
Protests in Tahrir Square certainly suggest anti-Obama sentiment.
A friend showed me pictures of huge floats in a parade in Germany that were insulting to Obama and Hillary…who would go to such lengths unless they had deep disdain for our president and the radical Democrats that are creating havoc around the world with naive and sloppy policy? answer – NOBODY!
Regarding Jack @#12 on Obama remarks on ISIS…Jack is fine it’s Libby and Chris that refuse to see the writing on the wall.
You Tube video shows that the message is “muddled” or sloppy. Obama and members of his administration made conflicting statements. “Destroy,” “contain,” “follow them to the gates of hell,” “bring them to justice”…what?
Libby and Chris lost in the last election. Progressive losers become attack dogs and arrogant snipes when they lose. They think if they believe something it means its the truth, no matter what. Evidence and alternative opinion we post puts cracks in their comfortably held belief system and blows big holes in their accepted realities. They rarely argue the salient points. Instead they focus on a niggling issue that they insert into the discussion and then begin to build a case based on their prejudices and inventions instead.
Its instructive to notice only in that it tells us exactly who we are dealing with in the radical progressive movement. The impact of their abusive snarky posts in our lives is nil as Jack indicated.
They do provide motivation to focus our energies and determination to expose and make insignificant the influence of such in our nation.
Tina: “I don’t agree that Bush was more disrespected around the world. I have always contended that Bush was respected by allies and enemies alike!!!”
Yes, I am well aware that you “don’t agree” with facts and reality, and that you will “always contend” things that have been objectively disproven; I just don’t understand why.
I’ve already shown you the poll results that prove President Bush had a lower international favorability rating than President Obama.
You’ve provided nothing to contradict that.
Rational observers can see which of our positions is based on facts and evidence, and which is based on wishful fantasy. As for the rest…well, there’s no helping them.
Tina: “At the time I challenged you to find a single instance where an American was harmed by his efforts to thwart terrorist acts. Crickets!”
So…the thousands of soldiers killed in Iraq because they were sent there based on obviously faulty intel…they weren’t Americans?
As for non-Americans, I’ve shared the story of German citizen Khalid El-Masri’s rendition, torture and rape at the hands of the CIA several times–you didn’t give a shit.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalid_El-Masri
I’ve also been very outspoken about Obama’s very real violations of the Constitution with the NSA scandal, the targeting of Snowden and Manning, signing indefinite detention into law…so please do not pretend that I am silent on his crimes. I admit a double standard exists in the media but that serves both parties; Democrats and Republicans alike have an interest in portraying Obama as “soft on terror” despite the fact that he has continued many of Bush’s worst policies. You yourself have engaged in this deception, so you have no grounds for complaining that the media is following the narrative you have helped to craft.
Chris ” I am well aware that you “don’t agree” with facts and reality”
Opinions about respect are not facts. Your opinion is not fact or reality nor is mine.
Evidence that Obama is not respected is available for anyone to see who is willing to honestly take a look. Video of world leaders avoiding him at the recent summit provides a clue. I understand you are not in that category who looks at all of the evidence. You make it quite clear.
“the thousands of soldiers killed in Iraq because they were sent there based on obviously faulty intel…they weren’t Americans?”
Try to stay in the room. I was referring to Americans being spied on, not soldiers in service to their country, which you knew when you conveniently left out the salient part of the quote: “They threw apoplectic fits over GWB spying. At the time I challenged you to find a single instance where an American was harmed by his efforts to thwart terrorist acts. Crickets!”
Clearly I was speaking only about the spying.
As long as you brought them up, though, Obama is less respected by most in the military than was Bush.
“you didn’t give a shit.”
Why you find it necessary to be such an offensive jerk will forever be a mystery; on the other hand I don’t give a ****.
“…despite the fact that he has continued many of Bush’s worst policies. You yourself have engaged in this deception”
That is a lie. I have never denied that Obama continued some of Bush’s policies. I was pretty much silent on the war for most of his first term too.
The big difference for me is intention, commitment and result. Obama has created chaos and strength in our enemies and greater danger in the world is the result. Obama isn’t clear, committed, or involved really. If you ask me it is he who doesn’t give a ****!
Attention Cassandra…YES, I would love to comment. Sorry I missed your comment and Jacks request. Had I seen them I’d have commented earlier. As you can tell by my double post above I was in the middle of big connection problems.
Our nation has been dumbed down and deceptively conditioned through our schools, politics and biased media.
Your comments make a good deal of sense and align with what we’re about and what we’ve been saying. I hope you will contribute again. We always enjoy hearing from fellow patriots in the fight…welcome!
