As government bailouts go forward, businesses fail, businesses merge, people are layed off, we will see a consolidation of power and we will see even more people looking to government for the answers. At the same time fewer people will be in charge and they will be making more decisions… for all of us. There is a great risk to democracy when that happens and we better be darn careful what we do. There will come a time when government no longer serves the people, but people serve the government.
