Ive got a question for our readers, so please don’t be bashful, give us your thoughts and you don’t even have to use your real name or real email address unless you want.
Alright, we’ve been fighting in Afghanistan for what, 8 years, right? And ever since the Iraq invasion we were told by the opposition (Dems) that this was the real area we needed to confront in order to take out Bin Laden and Al Queda, not Iraq.
The Republicans have been criticized vigorously for years for not doing more in Afghanistan. Now our military leaders say we need to increase our troop strength there or we could lose the war. But, the President seems to be wringing his hands, should we send more troops and defeat the Taliban or should not send more troops and give them a victory?
This is a tough decision for the President? I am stunned.
It’s been 8 freaking years and its come down to this, send in more troops or lose and the President has to think it over?
Please tell us what you would do if you were President. I really want to see what kind of collective intelligence we have out here. Thank you in advance for participating.
