The Death of the Dear Leader

(Fake mourners shown on state run TV) Reuters – “It is the second dynastic succession in the history of communist North Korea, after founding leader Kim Il-Sung died in 1994 — sparking similar scenes of organised hysteria.

“They are not even trying to wipe away tears and are convulsing with pain and despair caused by the loss,” KCNA said Monday of the country’s impoverished citizens, adding the population of 24 million was in “indescribable sorrow”.

Some in Pyongyang pounded the ground with their fists and others wailed at the sky, in a testament to the ferocious personality cult built up around Kim Jong-Il which is now being transferred to Kim Jong-Un.

“Under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong-Un, we will turn our sorrow into strength and courage and overcome the present difficulties and work harder for the great victory of the Juche (self-reliance) revolution,” KCNA quoted Jong Il-Guk, a 43-year-old military officer, as saying.”

North Korea is a special kind of Hell on earth where Satan (formerly Kim Jong Il) sits atop a throne, sipping fine aged cognac and feasting on imported caviar while his demons torture and starve millions of their fellow citizens. The people don’t resist, they just try to survive. The North Koreans are taught at an early age to rat on each other and devote themselves to the dear leader. A day of living in this place is another day of thought control and brutality all designed to crush the spirit and create a cult like following of the leadership.

If someone dare jokes and says the “dear leader” looks a little fat, it could warrant internment in a re-education (torture) camp, if it’s a criticism of dear leader’s politics or the government it could be a death sentence.

When Kim Jong Il died of a heart attack, my first reaction was to think it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy…hope it was incredibly painful and that he lingered at death’s door long enough to feel the panic and misery his many victims must have felt in their final moments. Kim Jong Il was a sick, perverted monster who committed despicable, barbaric acts of genocide upon his own people to keep them in terrified submission to his absolute authority. I’m really glad he’s dead, but it makes me angry when I hear our MSM speak about the man’s death as if he was just another world leader – he wasn’t!
Now we have his baby faced son on the throne. The minions in State Propaganda have been loading him up with faked heroic stories to enhance his persona since his dad started showing signs of declining health. Now this boy King is on the throne and we can only guess what he will do next, but given his family legacy it won’t be anything good.

It’s been estimated that almost 1,600,000 people have been murdered during purges and genocides in NK since he and his father held power. But this figure is little more than an educated guess because NK is a closed, brutal society. It makes closed dictatorial governments like Iran’s theocracy, (an ally of NK), look warm and fuzzy by comparison.

During the Korean War (25 June 1950 – present; cease fire signed on 27 July 1953) some 70,000 South Korean soldiers were captured, only 8000 were repatriated after the cease fire. Since the cease fire NK has committed hundreds of cease fire violations with sabotage missions across the DMZ that often targeted U.S. and South Korean patrols.
