According to a Washington DC source, Andrew Stiles of The Washington Free Beacon, Women on the Presidents staff earn less that the men on staff.
Huh? Could that really be true? Judge for yourself:
Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.
According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).
Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.
Watch what he does…pay zero attention to what he says!

Someone in here was crowing about the accomplishments of “progressives” the other day. The above story makes for a nice contrast to that noise.

P.S. Who was it who said that Communism is the best system, it just needs the right people to run it? Several million progressives of college freshman age or mental maturity.

According to Hillary Rosen, Obama staffer women who work at home don’t understand economic concerns. Talk about an attack on women. Women who do the most important jobs of raising the next generation, many who are now home schooling their children are too stupid to understand how to have a fiscally sound economy.

I thought that the president didn’t decide the salaries of his staff. I could be wrong, but if I’m not, then this article is wrong to blame Obama for the pay gap.
Also, I don’t see much evidence that women in the White House are being payed less for doing the same job, which is what the Lily Ledbetter Act prohibits. There are more men than women who serve in senior positions in Obama’s White House, so they are going to make more money.
