Redistribution! Jesse Jackson gets it. In the brave new world of America the winning team gets to dictate the presidents #1 agenda. The President must repay the black community for their “investment” in him and reward them by spending tax money (creating debt) to make life their lives better:

CBS Chicago – “Black Voters Deserve A Return On Election Investment,” Jesse Jackson

CHICAGO (STMW) – The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Saturday said that President Obama’s reelection was “a great victory,” but that it would be incomplete with (without?) a reconstruction of urban America and an investment in the communities where the blacks who voted overwhelmingly for the president live.

“We’re happy and full of pride,” in the president’s reelection, Jackson told the crowd at the Saturday morning forum at Rainbow/PUSH headquarters, 930 E. 50th St., “but our houses remain raggedy … our schools remain closed.”

See Americans “didn’t build that”…government built that. We didn’t respect and maintain what government did build either by being prosperous, contributing members of society….nope everything we have was given to us by the government. We have, as a country neglected to give enough to blacks. Now that we have a black president it’s time for him to give the black communities what they deserve:

“What do we want? We want, we want, we want, we deserve, we deserve … a return on our investment.

“What’s good for us is good for everybody. What’s good for blacks is good for everybody.,” he said. “We bled too much, we died too young, we cried too much, we prayed too long, now we want a return on our investment.”

He insisted that black “voter suppression” was going on in several states. Voter ID laws couldn’t possibly be a means to ensuring that every legitimate vote counts; it had to be about white racism. He said that despite these attempts to suppress the black vote they came out in droves to support President Obama and they won. Oh the power of activism and community organization!

Does Reverend Jackson know that most of the “bleeding” in the last five or six decades that black people have suffered has been at the hands of blacks? Can some progressive in our little community here at PS explain to me why Jackson believes that whites have made them bleed? Have destroyed their neighborhoods, families, and schools? Can anyone explain why the black community has backed democrats decade after decade only to still be stuck with poor conditions? Can you explain why the good reverend thinks that having one’s preferred candidate win means receiving a specific cash return?

Man…I am so out of touch…so far behind the curve, I really need some help.
