A group called the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco has launched a ballot initiative that would rename a city sewage treatment plant the “George W. Bush Sewage Plant.” A petition is being circulated that would put the measure up for a vote in November. If it passes, it will rename the city’s Oceanside Treatment Plant for the 43rd president of the United States.

There must be a toxic waste dump somewhere we could name after the Nobel Prize winning Algore?

She looks out across America, all the way to the shores of Malibu, and all she can see is a nation of broken souls? Who does she think makes the country work? Who pays the trillions in taxes shes so eager to help spend?
She also believes her husband has the power to fix souls. Isnt that a bit too much of that church and state thing?

Who needs a First Lady with such a negative view of the people of this great nation? Who needs a First Lady with such a supernatural view of her mate?

Congress: Al-Qaeda Using Internet to Recruit Terrorists in the US

Using a video montage showing mass executions, bomb-making, and a promise to ”slit the throats of Americans and Jews,” two U.S. lawmakers unveiled a report that says homegrown violent Islamic extremism poses an increasing threat to the safety of the American people. The bipartisan report by the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs was unveiled by Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) at a press conference. ** Lieberman said it was a mistake to underestimate the tactics being used by “the minority” of Muslims, who believe in jihad, or struggle, to create a caliphate, or global Islamic state. ** “The terrorists, who some still mistakenly dismiss as people living in caves, are as sophisticated in their communication abilities today as the very sophisticated members of this generation,” Lieberman said. ** He said that sophistication includes the coordination of the message being disseminated to Americans through virtual clearinghouses. ** “Al Qaeda or allied violent Islamic organizations manage a multi-tiered online media operation consisting of several production units to create content with the core message used to recruit and train terrorists.”

Its not going away folksno matter how many spells the witches of Code Pink cast to end the war.

We’re making progress, it’s been slow, it’s been fraught with frustrations, incompetence and corruption, but the boots on the ground have done an oustanding job and they deserve our support. Never forget that.
