An Army of Youth Being Created as Promised

Posted by Jack

Good news! On September 13, 2012, the Department of Homeland Security graduated its first class of FEMA Corps first-responders. This is a plan to have a large force of tens of thousands of volunteers scattered across the country to aid in times of natural or man made disasters.

Obama is keeping his promise to raise a new army of youth volunteers. Some are concerned the ‘new army’ is almost all 18-24. I know, some of you are also concerned that over the past few years President Obama has signed a number of Executive Orders suspending some civil and Constitutional rights and turning over management of an America under Martial Law to FEMA, who will also be in charge of the new youth army. Don’t worry about it, there’s no connection! You have the assurances of the President himself.

Also, a few of you are concerned that domestic federal agencies under DHS, including FEMA, have ordered billions of rounds of ammunition as well as the corresponding firearms. [Reference given below] Admittedly, these new weapons and ammunition will on be used for peace-keeping purposes like fighting forest fires in California. So don’t worry, everything is fine.

What about those strange Armored Fighting Vehicles Individuals around the US have begun reporting? Again, only to be used for peaceful purposes. They are heavily armed FEMA fighting vehicles for disaster relief. 2,500 brand new GLS armored fighting vehicles have just been purchased. According to the agency’s own mandate, as well as President Obama’s recent Executive Order they may also be used to control crowds during times of Martial Law and since we’ve never had martial law imposed, don’t worry about it, all is fine.

One set of images made available by Rense.com shows trailer after trailer carrying these new DHS and FEMA armored fighting vehicles, complete with machine gun slots. They’re labeled with the usual backward American flag and the title, ‘Homeland Security’. Below that and the DHS logo, it also reads, ‘Immigration & Customs Enforcement’. Joining those markings, the black vehicles with white lettering also display ‘POLICE/RESCUE’ on one side and ‘Special Response Team’ on the other. Pretty cool eh?

FEMA Deputy Administrator Rich Serino gave the keynote address at the ‘Induction Ceremony’ for the inaugural class of FEMA Corps members. According to the DHS website, ‘Corps members assist with disaster preparedness, response, and recovery activities, providing support in areas ranging from working directly with disaster survivors to supporting disaster recovering centers to sharing valuable disaster preparedness and mitigation information with the public.’

Serino describes what the first FEMA Corps class has accomplished so far, as well as where they’ll be going next:

‘Yesterday, we welcomed 231 energetic members into the first ever FEMA Corps class. The members just finished off their first month of training with our partners at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and are one step closer to working in the field on disaster response and recovery. They will now head to FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness to spend the next two weeks training in their FEMA position-specific roles. Once they complete both the CNCS and FEMA training, these 231 dedicated FEMA Corps members will be qualified to work in one of a variety of disaster related roles, ranging from Community Relations to Disaster Recovery Center support.’

Unlike most local disaster response teams who are volunteers, training periodically and only showing up when there’s a disaster, the FEMA Corps will be a paid, full time, standing army of government youth. FEMA Deputy Administrator Sarino goes on to explain, ‘The new members, who range in age from 18-24 years old, will contribute to a dedicated, trained, and reliable disaster workforce by working full-time for ten months on federal disaster response and recovery efforts.’

In closing his announcement of the first graduating class of FEMA Corps Youth, Sarino describes his and the agency’s vision of the future, one where ‘FEMA Corps sets the foundation for a new generation of emergency managers’.

As we detailed in the August 28 article ‘History of DHS Ammunition Purchases’, federal emergency management agencies are looking more and more like a military army every day. The federal government’s procurement website actually lists DHS’ requests for bids to supply it with ammunition and military weaponry. All of the orders listed in the above article, including the orders for hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition, are publicly available at http://www.fbo.gov/.

One look at a chart of DHS ammunition purchases over the past decade reveals a drastic spike in orders of bullets recently, totaling in the billions of rounds. Other charts available online show a similar drastic spike in the purchases of accompanying weaponry by the Department of Homeland Security. They are getting ready for fires, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes and as you know this takes a lot of ammo,

The Obama Administration understands we needs an army of youth, millions of guns, thousands of armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of ammunition to provide relief to the American people during an upcoming disaster to be announced later.

Doing the Right Thing Always Comes With a Price

by Jack

On Sat. at noon the Tea Party here and in other cities in California, staged a well behaved, lawful assembly over the Benghazi incident and the murders of four Americans. As you know, many questions remain unanswered and the answers to date have caused many of us to be disgusted. Something was terribly wrong with how this was handled and the Tea Party wanted to rally support to get the truth out.

In Chico, the old parking lot at the closed Bank of America was the staging ground for these conservatives from a number of political parties. Most were over 60, but there were younger families there too. They carried large American flags to show their patriotism and they had signs questioning the Benghazi inaction and deception. These were the folks that filtered out to the four corners of Notre Dame at the Skyway, They stood there quietly, but sometimes waving to those supporters honking or giving a thumbs up. I noted that the majority of people passing by were very supportive and that was gratifying and personally reassuring that patriotism and common sense are still alive.

7066-fingerman-thumb-250x147-7065.jpg

Then there were the others. Those were the people who hate such gatherings. I can’t imagine why…but they do. The mildest of them would look away, refusing to acknowledge the presence of so many flags and caring Americans. And a few others gave us the finger and a few yelled obscenities as they sped past.

At one point the westbound lane of the Skyway was backed up 15 cars deep at the long stoplight. This placed the outside lane within a few feet of a long line of protesters. Then it happened. A man in a late model sedan, his wife and children in the car, started chanting “Obama, Obama, Obama” and shaking his fist in the air, obviously in an attempt to provoke this decent gathering of older Americans present only to demand justice and accountability for murdered Americans. Why would anyone in this country feel hatred or anger towards such a decent purpose? Was it because they dared to ask questions about the Obama Administration or was it over the expression of free speech, so close to a contested election that angered these jerks? Whatever it was, there were those who felt hate so much they had to spew it at the demonstrators. I wondered, why would this screaming driver try to provoke a crowd of people with his family in his car? That was irresponsible. He was being a bully and cowardly because he was using his wife and children as a shield. He continued to shout insults as the light changed and traffic moved forward, even though his frightened wife rolled up her passenger window to silence his venom from the crowd.

These random incivilities, by people favoring another side, was yet another glaring example of the difference between two philosophies that dominate today’s politics.

On one side we have the conservatives and that means folks who are predisposed to be reserved, prudent and that is a life style that extends to all things, not just politics. It is especially true among the older, and wiser citizens. And on the other side are the radical, the rude, the imprudent, the in-your-face jerks, who would incite violence and insult decent, caring people, even if it meant putting their family at risk.

When the leftists arrived in Washington to celebrate their victory they left behind tons of trash, when the Tea Partiers arrived in Washington much later and in even greater numbers, they left the same space cleaner than when they arrived. Contrast that and their Tea Party protests later on to the Occupy movement, with thier arsons, the mountains of trash, the rapes, the murders and vandalisms in every city they protested.

We have a clear choice on Nov. the 6th to send a message which group we support, which philosophy we think is worthy. Then be prepared to embark a great mission to restore what has been good and decent about us. The left have tried to destroy our founders’ values and the idealism that made us great. They want to change America into their vision of a socialist nation, but on Nov. the 6th they will hopefully be dealt a serious setback, and not a moment too soon!

Obama, “Voting is the Best Revenge”

6780-Barack-Obama-.jpg

Posted by Tina

The President portrays himself as a thoughtful man.

Yet the President said an outrageous thing at a rally in Ohio on Friday. While speaking to his supporters he mentioned Mitt Romney’s name and when the crowd began to boo he admonished them saying, “”No, no, no, Don’t boo. Vote! Voting is the best revenge.

Revenge? Revenge against whom…or what? We assume he meant Americans that will not vote for him and his agenda on Tuesday. Is this the way a president should be speaking about the American people?

If you recall, this isn’t the only time President Obama has referred to Americans as the enemy. On October 26th of 2010 The Examiner reported on remarks the President made to Hispanic voters:

While talking to Hispanic voters on Tuesday, Obama told them they must “Punish our enemies and reward our friends and go to the polls and vote or he will not be able to get an immigration policy approved. Which is nice to say, but Obama could care less about illegal immigrants and had not intended to introduce a bill until he saw Independent voters leaving him in droves and realized he needed their votes.

The President did make an attempt at clarification in an interview with radio talker Michael Baisden:

And you know, it’s interesting right now, there was a — I had a conversation with a Hispanic radio outlet, Univision, and during the course of that conversation, one of the things that I had to say to the Latino community, which is frustrated that we haven’t seen progress on immigration reform, was that they can’t sit out of this election. There were arguments being made that because Democrats hadn’t gotten this done, that Latinos should vote against Democrats or just sit out the election.

And I said, well, you can’t punish your friends when — the folks who’ve been supporting it. Now, I did also say if you’re going to punish somebody, punish your enemies, and I probably should have used the word, “opponents” instead of enemies. Now the Republicans are saying that I’m calling them enemies. What I’m saying is you’re an opponent of this particular provision, comprehensive immigration reform, which is something very different.

But the key issue here is that if you are supportive of comprehensive immigration reform, if you are supportive of health care reform, if you are supportive of making sure that credit card companies are treating us fairly, making sure that banks are properly regulated so they don’t end up getting taxpayer bailouts — if you support those things, then you’ve got to support those who helped to put those provisions into law. And you’ve got to make sure that those who are opposed to that legislation, that they get a clear message that they shouldn’t be standing in the way of the progress, but rather we should be moving this country forward.

The only thing the President is sincere about is that he is right and anyone who disagrees with his solutions and approach is an enemy to his magnificence. This is not how our country works. This is the mind of someone who considers himself a ruler rather than a leader of a free nation. His remarks indicate a man who has very little, if any, regard for the American system of government.

The American Spectator has an excellent article this week comparing coverage on Benghazi, Iran Contra, and Watergate. Anyone who was not around during Watergate or Iran contra will find this information useful in terms of history and current events as they are presented by media. Those interested in media bias will find it very interesting:

Question: How is Benghazi different from Watergate and Iran-Contra? The obvious answer: the media. Liberal journalists turned Watergate and Iran-Contra into gigantic national scandals by their consistent, relentless pursuit of both stories; to the contrary, they are consistently, relentlessly ignoring Benghazi.

The media’s treatment of Watergate needs no explanation here. The press detested Richard Nixon unlike any modern president. Sure, the liberal media went after George W. Bush, but nothing like the way it attacked Richard Nixon. Liberals’ hatred of Nixon was pathological. It dated to Nixon’s work in exposing Alger Hiss. As Nixon would say at the end of his life, the Hiss-Chambers trial forever forged a legion of unwavering Nixon enemies on the left. I’m not saying that Richard Nixon was an angel, but if you want to understand Watergate, you need to understand the hatred of Nixon by the liberal media.

More On Benghazi, Top Military Officers Fired

by Jack

According to our resident Liberal Commentators Tina and I have a never ending mission for blood lust, while spreading hate and division amongst the noble proletariat. We call it letting the facts fall where they may, but that of course is our devious bias for the truth talking.

Ready for more rightwing bloodlust? Okay, we bring you another unfolding story about Benghazi. And there is more breaking news today, but that will have to wait until the next article. I’ll try to put it together in a few hours.

From Before It’s News:
“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

It is important to note that this information is coming from Tiger Droppings, a message board. The poster, Ambassador, on October 26th at 9:45 pm recounts hearing the above (my paraphrase) from a trustworthy person inside the military. He/she then reports this:

President Barack Obama will nominate Army Gen. David Rodriguez to succeed Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command and Marine Lt. Gen. John Paxton to succeed Gen. Joseph Dunford as assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced Thursday. Source: Stars and Stripes

So while we do not know what is true and what is not, we know that Ham has been relieved of duty and Obama has nominated General Rodriguez, who relieved Ham, to take his place and to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. We also know that Gaouette is no longer in command of the USS Stennis Carrier Strike Group.

NavyTimes.com reports that, “Vice Admiral John Miller, commander Naval Forces Central Command, made the decision to reassign the commander of Carrier Strike Group 3, even though it’s deployed to the Middle East.”

NBC News interviewed Neal Zerbe, a retired Navy Captain, who says, “The particular commander being relieved, and you know translating that to just moving him back to a continental U.S. base while the investigation continues, is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.” Source: MyNorthwestcom

This story is NOT CONFIRMED, so stay tuned.

Bush Had a Plan to Upgrade Eastern Power Grid – Dems & Greens Blocked It

Posted by Tina

President Obama has wasted millions and millions of taxpayer dollars (adding to the debt) on green energy projects that have failed or are failing. A better leader might have taken a wiser approach to the energy needs of the American people.

The recent storm that has devastated the east highlights the need for smart when it comes to energy. George Bush had a smart plan to improve our energy grid. Had it been adopted when it was proposed the conditions for recovery on the east coast today would be much more favorable. The East coast power grid has been in need of upgrade for many years.

The L.A.Times reported on the special interest push to defeat Bush’s plan:

WASHINGTON — Minnesota environmentalists will taunt and jeer from a block away when President Bush unveils his national energy strategy in St. Paul. A coalition of green groups is expected to purchase TV time to attack the administration manifesto in key markets. Congressional Democrats temporarily commandeered a Capitol Hill gas station to plug their competing energy initiative.

For the environmental community–and the Democrats in Congress who support their causes–Thursday’s roll-out of the Bush administration’s comprehensive energy plan will be the political equivalent of D-day.

“The environmental community is going to put more money into this than any other campaign in its history because there is so much at stake,” said Phil Clapp, president of the National Environmental Trust. “What they are assembling is an all-out attack on environmental protections.”

Nasty little creatures, they! What a difference a few years and a change in leadership can make…and not in a good way!

Warning was “Specific” and “Direct” – Kathryn Herridge on New Evidence, Benghazi

Posted by Tina

A cable that was sent from Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi directly to Hillary Clinton at the State Department about ten Al Qaeda groups included the warning that an attack on the facility could not be defended and expressed a desperate need for security help has been revealed to Kathryn Herridge of FOX News.

Herridge: “What I see is a growing body of evidence that the State Department has culpability for the death of the Ambassador and those three Americans.”

Most in the mainstream media are still ignoring the “growing body of evidence”. The administration has changed its position several times since their cover story blaming an obscure video bombed. In one instance they cited the vague “fog of war”. Old media has basically accepted this explanation, although they would never have done so when George W. Bush was president.

The San Diego Union Tribune Editorial Board is not ignoring this story…they are hitting the administration hard…as they should. Headline:

“YOU HAVE THE BLOOD OF AN AMERICAN HERO ON YOUR HANDS”

There was no “fog.” There was no spontaneous uprising. Thanks to a drone and other surveillance technology, the White House’s national security team knew in real time that the U.S. consulate and a “safe house” a mile away in Benghazi were under coordinated attack by a well-armed group, not from a protest that unexpectedly escalated. Over a seven-hour span on Sept. 11, the besieged Americans made at least two urgent requests for help; the U.S. military has considerable assets in the area that could have been deployed to Benghazi.

Who told the besieged Americans they were out of luck?

A good question! Ambassador Chris Stevens, security officials Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and information officer Sean Smith died on Sept. 11 in Benghazi …their deaths could have been prevented. The Ambassador could have been brought home. Security could have been increased. There was more than sufficient time given the information that was readily available at least a month in advance.

This administration should be sent packing over this if nothing else. VOTE!
