And It Began So Subtly, the Decline of Men…

by Jack Lee

Back in the day when men were men, this advertisement is indicative of a turn in our culture that signaled the beginning of the end for the macho man!

The feminization of the male gender has continued unabated until this day when we think it’s macho to be able to crush an aluminum beer can with one slap of the hand! No friends, that manly-man gesture was meant for the STEEL beer can! Even a girlie-man can flatten an aluminum can! But, you try that trick with a steel can to your forehead Mr. Animal House, yeah, lets see how tough you are then pal!

Now, go to fridge and use your PULL TAB…you whoose! I’ll bet your wife will even make you throw your empties in the trash. We’ve sunk so low guys and if you need more proof go on to page two.

A Message to America from Jorge

I post Jorges comment on the article, East Bay Man Murdered in Puerta Vallarta, by Jack Lee because I thought some of his comments deserve to be highlighted. I take Jorges remarks as a warning more than a threat.

** Mexicans envi(envidia) and hate norteamericanos an that is the basis for much of what is wrong in Mexico now and the rise of Partido Comunista es un partido poltico. The Gringo’s have always had the upper hand but now the communistas are making much progress because they are able to use this long standing hate to unite political factions to one purpose an one cause. Money for cocana empowered them an terrorist tactics make people fear and respect there authority. Local revolucionarios are currently very small portion of the political element within Mexico, but do not underestimate their power. They have growing popularity with the Mexican people because they promise stability an equality in this country that has known neither only corruption poverty and despair. **

First Impressions

Posted by Tina

Most of the world is in a state of financial trouble. Nations are looking to America for leaderhip and strength, for endurance and revival. Weve been assured that the change America embraced by putting our trust in the Democrat Party will translate to renewed admiration and respect from nations across the globe…Americas reputation will once again be restored.

Now the first real work of Congress has been completed and perhaps the most important piece of legislation ever written by our government awaits the Presidents signature. But will it recieve applause and appreciation from others around the world?

Happy Valentines Day

waoo.jpgJack, Bruce and Tina wish all of you a lovely day spent with those closest to you.

And for those who read Post Scripts and love a good fight, a poem:

Since the majority of me
Rejects the majority of you,
Debating ends forwith, and we
Divide. And sure of what to do
We disinfect new blocks of days
For our majorities to rent
With unshared friends and unwalked ways,
But silence too is eloquent:
A silence of minorities
That, unopposed at last, return
Each night with cancelled promises
They want renewed. They never learn.

Who Caused An Electronic Run On the Banks…and WHY?

Posted by Tina

Last year I suggested the economy was being manipulated for political reasons. I don’t say these things to just to hear myself talk. I say them out of deep concern for the country I love. It seems Im not the only one with questions who cares:

Who Attacked Our Economy? Why Does No One Care? by Diana West Townhall.com

** I want you to read something. It’s a snatch of transcript from a Jan. 27 C-SPAN interview with Rep. Paul Kanjorski, D-Pa., that has received zero coverage in what we think of as the mainstream media. **

East Bay Man Murdered in Puerta Vallarta

by Jack Lee

don't.jpgA San Carlos man was sleeping with his family in their time-share condo in the heart of old town in Puerta Vallarta near Los Muertos Beach (english meaning “the dead”). He heard a noise and sat up in bed, he saw a shadowed figure in their room and yelled, “Get out of here!” He was stabbed in his stomach and then he started swinging. His wife and sister watched horrorified, unable to do much except throw a few things and yell at the intruder. Timmothy Conner was repeatedly stabbed and slashed until he crumpled and went silent laying in a pool of blood that slowly oozed across the white tiled floor. The unidentified hispanic male fled and the chances are good he won’t be caught.

A lot of Americans love this spot and it’s why it’s becoming a magnet for the criminals who prey on them. Timmothy Conner was 47, he was employed by DHL.

Being a tourist and murdered in your bed is unusual, even for Mexico. However all manner of thefts are common, especially purse snatches. Another danger is parasites and germs. Because of the low hygene standards in Mexico you run a very high risk of contracting a serious infectious disease. Should you have a serious accident and need emergency care chances are an ambulance will not arrive within the golden hour and there goes your chances for survival.

The best thing for tourists to do right now is just avoid Mexico. It’s a dirty, disease riddled nation, full of criminals who prey on tourists. Drug violence has Mexico’s government on the verge of collapse.

No, no, no, don’t go to Mexico.

Obama Victory?

** President Barack Obama on Friday warned that economic recovery in the United States ”will be measured in years, not months” as he scored a major victory in his young presidency with the approval in Congress of a $787 billion (542) bill to revive the economy. *** The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is the largest spending plan the US has ever seen.
