Sarah Palin is Highly Qualified!

by Steve Thompson,

Sarah Palin is more qualified and experienced to be a Vice President than Obama is to be President.

The reality here is that liberals hate Sarah Palin because she’s a woman who doesn’t buy into their radical bs. They hate John McCain (even though they used to love him) because he has an R next to his name, period. America has been subjected to 8 years of hatred from the radical left and their propaganda-driven hysteria. America is now tired of the leftist drivel and they absolutely love the McCain/Palin ticket.

Obama and Biden? Sorry, but a nice speech from an empty suit does not long impress thoughtful voters.

American Express CEO Rakes in the Bucks as Stock Tumbles

Posted by Jack Lee

For some corporate honcho’s life isn’t so bad despite ever decreasing company valuations and employee layoffs.

Take for instance the CEO of American Express, Kenneth Chennault, he did real well last year even though his company didn’t. His base salary was a mere $1,238,500 and of course we couldn’t expect him to live on that chicken feed so his Board of Directors gave him $10.8 million in benefits and $30.75 million in stock options.

STOCK MARKET FALLS SHARPLY

Posted by Jack Lee

But, shares of Smith and Wesson jumped!

1year.jpg
The US Stock market was rocked today by a horrific drop of nearly 504.48 on the big board or 4.42% which is the largest drop in the market since September 11th, 2001.

Wallstreet.jpgTo say this day was ugly is an understatement! The S&P 500 closed at its lowest level since 2005 and is now down 18.8% year-to-date and down 24.3% from its October 2007 all-time high. The financial sector (-10.4%) took the brunt of the selling interest, although weakness was broad-based with all ten economic sectors posting a loss. Decliners outpaced advancers by a whopping 81-to-1 ratio on the NYSE.

The Media Calls McCain and Palin on Their Trail of Lies

Posted by Meagan Dixon

Sept. 15, 2008, The McCain campaign has spent the last couple weeks making claims and accusations of dubious accuracy, mocking independent fact checkers, and telling everyone who will listen that the “media filter” doesn’t matter.

Wall Street Hurricane Wipes Out Investors

Posted by Jack Lee

Another bloody day for Wall Street. You knew it was coming too when Japan and Europe starting selling off sharply, then our exchange opened and the DOW and NAS both dropped like lead balloons on the same string, but at least they didn’t drop as bad as most other world exchanges.

Group wants Chico to be ‘Fair Trade Town’

Posted by Jack Lee

1292-ist1_3994351-gavel-flag.jpg (ALERT) A few weeks ago I entered a local coffee shop and ordered a cup Guatemalan Dark and this young guy with a pony tail was working behind the counter and said, “You will be pleased to know this comes from “fair trade” coffee beans.” He seemed quite happy to make this announcement until I asked, and what do you mean by “fair trade”? Apparently his previous customers just gave approving nods. He stammered for a moment and said, “Well, I think this means that the people picking the beans get a fair wage.” Ok, so what do you consider a fair wage? I asked. He was at a loss to explain although he tried, but he really didn’t know. Then he fell back on, “All of our coffee beans are fair trade items!” And he smiled. Which answered nothing and brought me back to my first question, but I could see this was going nowhere, so I didn’t pursue it; I just nodded and with a smile said, “Oh that’s really good to know.”

Subpoena List Manipulated by Obama Partisan

Posted by Tina

Way up north in Alaska the rush is on to totally sully the reputation of Sarah Palin…it appears some will go to any lengths. Heres a story that further dishes the dirt:

Obama Partisan Tampers with Palin Subpoena List, by Amanda Carpenter

A Friday hearing revealed that an Obama partisan has manipulated an independent investigators subpoena list for a controversial inquiry against GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. *** The investigation is intended to determine whether Palin abused her office by firing Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. Palin says she fired him over budget issues. Her foes believe the firing was due to Monegans unwillingness to fire Palins former brother-in-law State Trooper Mike Wooten, a man who has admitted to tasering his stepson, illegally shooting a moose and has been accused of threatening his former father-in-law with violence and drinking in his police car. *** Investigator Steven Branchflower admitted he had ceded control of his subpoena list to Sen. Hollis French (D.) during Alaskas Joint Judiciary Committee September 12 hearing that was scheduled to approve subpoena requests. *** Monegan told the Anchorage Daily News on August 30 that he was never pressured to dismiss Palins former brother-in-law. For the record, he said, no one has ever said fire Wooten. Not the governor. Not Todd. Not any of the other staff. *** Wooten, for his part, has reportedly turned down at least $30,000 from tabloids hungry for his side of the story.

As one person said in the story…there’s “something fishy” going on up there!

On Obamas Tax Cut Claims…

Just Do the Math!!!

The 95% Solution, by Bruce Bialosky – TownHall

He says it wherever he goes these days. He said it in his convention speech. He said it in his interview on the OReilly Factor. He is saying it regularly on the stump. Senator Obama says that he is going to cut taxes for 95% of Americans. Sometimes he says 95% of working Americans and sometimes he says 95% of working families. Anyway you state it, it cannot be done. *** Mr. Obama seems not to be aware that in the last analysis of income taxes paid to the U.S. Treasury (in 2006), taxpayers whose earnings were in the lowest 50% paid only 3% of our total tax burden. That means most of these taxpayers paid almost nothing. The next lowest
