A small town in Alaska decided a few years back that Stubbs the cat would do a better job as mayor than any of the other candidates. He won his post as a write-in candidate 15 years ago and has been mayor of Talkeetna, Alaska ever since. With a thousand friends on Facebook Mayor Stubbs is becoming quite the tourist attraction for this small Alaskan village at the foot of Mount McKinley and is said to have increased tourism and sales for local business. No word on his position on plastic bags.
Hmmm…a furry write in candidate or two might work wonders in the Chico City Council…any thoughts, citizens?
