Hearings on the assassination of our US Ambassador on 9/11 in Benghazi began yesterday, and in case you missed it here are some of the major points that came out. I think you’ll find them very interesting:
1. There was no demonstration that led to the violence. The embassy was attacked in two waves, by well orchestrated and heavily armed combatants. This completely undermines the Obama administration’s attempt to sell this as a protest rally that merely spun out of control.
2. The anti-Muslim You-tube video short had no role in the murder of the 4 Americans at the Benghazi embassy. This fact was known 4 days before the United State’s Chief Ambassador, Susan Rice, stated the attack was a direct result of a Muslim protest rally over this video.
This has raised the question, why then did the administration persisted in a story line that was not true?
There was a general belief within the US intelligence agencies that the attacks were terrorism and most likely inspired and controlled by Al Qaeda. 24 hours after the assault on 9/11/2011 the head of the US Intelligence Committee, Mike Rogers, stated unequivocally, this was a terrorist event.
3. The committee is now focused on the 9/14/2011 statements made by Obama appointee, David Petraeus, head of the CIA , who was very much wedded to the idea that it a random protest caused by the You-Tube
Video. The committee seemed to be very dissatisfied with his incorrect public information and they wanted to know why he would say that, when the facts led in an entirely different direction?
4. An intelligence phone intercept days prior to the attack on 9/11/2011 from a major Al Qaeda player in Libya to another AQ terrorist (in another country) strongly hinted they (AQ) were planning to attack the embassy in Benghazi. The Obama administration claimed the event was unforeseeable.
This is phone call is another independent confirmation the administration should have known the embassy was at serious risk, just as Ambassador Chris Stevens reported and just as his security team reported in their pleas for more security prior to 9/11/2012.
The committee questioned a number of other unusual events initiated by the Obama administration, not the least of which was, why did they continue to talk about the video and a demonstration as the root cause when they knew that had nothing to do with the incident? Then you have the contrasting events in Benghazi where numerous security people, including the Ambassador were asking for more help and nothing happened.
Not only did the administration actively deny there was ever a security problem in Libya, but that the attack was in no way related to Al Qaeda terrorism. Evidence now suggested that not only was it a terrorist attack, but that Libyan security probably provided information to the help the attackers.
Clearly, event are telling us that the Obama administration refused to accept the fact that there was a serious problem before the attack and that Al Qaeda was responsible after the attack. This is scandalous and we need a full accounting and the truth. But, remember this was the same administration that called the murderous Muslim inspired terrorist attack at Fort Hood a simple matter of work place violence! That attack killed 13 and wounded 30. It was not work place violence, as they persist in saying to this very day. The evidence, and even the shooters own statements, link this directly to an extremist Muslim act of terrorism and to he was emailing al Qaeda cleric Anwar al Awlaki, in Yemen about waging jihad. Awlaki has since been killed in a drone strike. Hasan had been emailing Awlaki since Dec. 17, 2008 and the Obama team says there is no link to terrorism?
The Obama administration appears to be in denial before, during and after the attack that killed Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans. Some in the media have called this “wishful thinking” and others within the Obama administration as an effort to “downplay terrorism” and the Al Qaeda influence because it happened on their watch. Nobody wants to take responsibility here and they remained in denial and damage control mode for two weeks after these murders.
However, this is nothing new. In 2009 when a Muslim from Nigeria boarded a flight to the US and tried to set off an underwear bomb, Obama claimed this was an isolation incident, even though the facts later confirmed he had met with Al Qaeda operatives who planned the suicide attack. And now we have the attack on our embassy in Benghazi where for weeks Obama appointees ran around proclaiming this was an unforeseeable event linked to an anti-Muslim video. However, this tragic event has been proven to be a full on, premeditated attack, with heavy weapons, involving direct and indirect fire.
The committee is looking in these discrepancies and they are questioning if Ambassador Susan Rice was merely confused by conflicting intel or if there was deliberately misleading us. But, this calls for another question and this is why did Obama choose to put Rice out on the talk shows rather than qualified intelligence people from any of our four key counter terrorism agencies? Why do that, when she has no expertise in this area? Why did the Obama administration choose her over career intel professionals?
These are serious questions that demand answers and accountability. This is not a partisan witch hunt, this is about our national security, about ethics and honesty. It is about leadership and whether you are democrat or something else you should be just as concerned as we are. Something here does not pass the smell test!

EITHER
1) Obama and the leadership in his administration actually believed for nearly a week the terrorist attack in Benghazi was a demonstration, turned to riot, turned to embassy attack over a stupid YouTube movie trailer DESPITE what every intelligence agency said to the contrary
OR
2) Obama and the leadership in his administration had a reason to deny and portray the attack as something besides a terror operation, despite the facts.

Pie, I think Obama is having trouble reconciling with the fact that not all Muslims love him or are ready to fall in line because of his magnificence.

THE OTHER TACTIC WAS TO CHANGE SUBECTS BEFORE RYAN COULD COMPLETE A SENTENCE. THE ONLY TIME SHE WENT AFTER BIDEN WAS THE BIG BENGHAZI LIES. RYAN SAID THE PARIS EMBASSY HAS MORE MARINE GUARDS THEN A WAR ZONE HAD. THE SAD PART ABOUT OBAMA DESTROYING ANY GAINS MADE IN THE MIDDLE EAST SINCE 911 IS HE TOLD OUR ENEMIES WE WILL LEAVE THIS MESS IN THEIR HANDS ON 2014. This administration is not serious about defending the nation. they are interested in appearing to know what they are doing and getting re-elected.
