“Anyone know if President Obama intends to perform background checks on the Syrian rebels before providing them weapons?”

    As long as we’re talking weapons and Syria you might want to read Jim Geraghty at National Review this morning:

    Remember my story about the smuggling of shoulder-mounted anti-aircraft missiles in and out of Libya during that country’s civil war? Public reports indicate U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens was working on tracking those missiles when he was attacked and murdered in Benghazi.     Well, I guess Syria would have to be under an arms embargo for Obama to recieve that honor.
