    NEOCON COLLEGE? No thank You. That college is a known racist institute with the exception of a few that register. What did Larry Arnn call them? “The dark Ones”

    But at least that answers the racism question for this regions Tea Party.

    While it is true Hillsdale College has been against affirmative action from its start, it is also true that Hillsdale College is not a racist college and never has been!

    In fact it has been on the leading edge of race and gender inclusion since it’s founding, preferring not to discriminate at all…not by disallowing based on race and gender and not by giving “special rights” to any race:

    Hillsdale College was established as Michigan Central College in Spring Arbor, Michigan, on December 4, 1844. In 1853, the college moved to Hillsdale, Michigan and assumed its current name. … Black students were admitted immediately after the college’s 1844 founding, and the College became the second school in the nation to grant four-year liberal arts degrees to women. … Hillsdale’s non-discrimination policy remained controversial throughout its history. For example, Hillsdale’s football team refused to play in the 1956 Tangerine Bowl in Florida when the governing committee of the Bowl would not allow the team’s black players to join the white players on the field; the committee then selected Juniata College instead.

    The Daily Kos story implies racism but it is absolutely wrong. The sub-title of the piece gives away the true intent of the author in writing it…a racist smear on Rush Limbaugh by association.

    The remarks made by the president of the college that are the subject of leftist hit pieces were in fact a response to charges of racism wherein people from the government descended on his college with clipboards in hand, presumably to count the number of black, brown, or female faces on campus. The question was asked since the group refused to respond when asked what information they were seeking. The answer of course is that they activists were looking for something racial to discredit the college. These people are the racists…and apparently you are aligned with this group.
