Evidence of Muddled, Complex US Tax Law…and Corruption!

The stuff that falls out of people’s mouths!

During another grueling hearing on the ObamaCare rollout, the head of the IRS tried to offer lawmakers an assurance about the soon-to-open enrollment period.

“Whenever we can, we follow the law,” IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told the House Ways and Means subcommittee on health on Wednesday.

This poor schlub stepped in after Lois Lerner did her political thing at the IRS. He’s doing his best to represent the organization after that criminal act but his comment is astounding on another level. Lets be clear…the IRS has no business using the office to politically target citizens! But when the IRS chief honcho doesn’t think its possible to “follow the law” in every case how in God’s name are citizens supposed to feel confident that they can file correctly and won’t become targets for IRS audit, grilling and fine?

Time to reform tax law and scrap this broken agency!

What with the Obumble’s IRS scandals and the complicated tax code – and companies like Burger King fleeing the US (like businesses in Taxifornia moving elsewhere) – a flat tax would be a welcome change.

People have been complaining about the complex tax code for decades and it just gets more and more complex. Loop holes are nothing but LEGAL functions in the tax code. Our government has given us this beast over many years and through many administrations.

I heard this morning on Fox Business that the NFL is EXEMPT from federal taxes. I don;t know how to verify if this is true but think of the profits this business makes. As far as I know basketball, baseball, and hockey do pay federal tax. I will try to find out more but if true it is just another indication that progressive tax structures become an excuse for favoritism and cronyism…a drain on free productive people.
