Honolulu – homeless panhandlers, crazies, drunks, prostitutes and street druggies, these are the dregs of society and they are becoming so numerous in this island paradise that local politicians have come up with an usual plan.
They established a fund to buy these characters a one way plane ticket back the mainland. The word is, get them out of the islands! Send them anywhere, but don’t let them stay in Hawaii! Apparently the locals have had it with these mainland bums!
Exactly how they turned up in Hawaii is somewhat of a mystery, maybe another State or states decided to send them away with a one ticket and this was their destination of choice?
In order to qualify for voluntary deportation, individuals must take part in a local program to get cleaned up and when they have met the hygiene test and are mentally capable of travel they are loaded on to the next plane and hopefully they will never come back!
Back at home: I don’t think Chico has the money to deport even half their bum population as far as Oroville! We’re really overrun here and it’s getting worse every day.
Well, I’ve had my fill of these homeless. And I try to be real understanding because with this Obammie/Yellen economy I bet I could one day be homeless.
But today was just too much. These homeless were in FoodMax and two of them were going up and down the isles eating food and one had a real bad cough, water eyes, spittle running out his mouth.
Anyway, he coughs and sneezes all over me and my groceries. Dang, I’ll probably come down with ebola.
I was in the Dollar Store today and saw the same thing. Two raunchy bums were hanging out on the outside and one was buying a soda inside and he was filthy, they were all under 35 and looked healthy and fit. These guys can clean up if they behave themselves at the Torres Shelter or at the Jesus Center. But, they don’t for some reason…and the bum population keeps growing unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. There are a few super clean older transient types that wear pretty nice clothes, I wonder what their story is? Laid off, lost everything?
Obama says the economy is great…I think he’s wrong.
I guess one of the benefits of rarely getting to Chico is missing out on all the bum stuff. I think at least for now I prefer the isolation 😉
Obama claim higher numbers of people working since 2007 but fails to let people know that the numbers eligible to work have grown by a much higher percentage so the higher number still falls short.
Statistics can be manipulated. People know what they are living through. The more this guy feeds his own ego the sillier he looks.
