Obama Administration Insults Israeli Prime Minister

ObamaDowncastAPThere’s a story on the internet originating in a number of major newspapers including USA Today, the Guardian and Washington Post and tells of an ugly incident involving Team Obama.

An Obama senior official is calling Netanyahu “chickensh–” and this shows the ugly, ignorant, and grossly shortsighted side of the president and his team when it comes to the Jewish state.

“When it comes to Israel, President Obama has been Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. There is campaign Obama, who assures the Israelis he doesn’t bluff when it comes to stopping Iran’s nuclear program, lavishes the Jewish state with even more military assistance than his predecessor, and goes out of his way to let bygones be bygones. Then there is the other Obama. This is the one that instructs his secretary of state to travel to the Middle East to propose a Gaza ceasefire that America’s allies in the region thinks rewards Hamas for starting a war this summer. It is the Obama who emerges in an incisive column published Tuesday by The Atlantic‘s Jeffrey Goldberg. The headline of course is that senior administration officials are privately calling Netanyahu “chickensh–.” He’s chickensh– because he won’t risk his own political coalition to stop the announcement of construction in East Jerusalem. But he’s also chickensh– because at the end of the day, Netanyahu heeded the warnings and requests of Obama and did not take military action against Iran. As one pro-Israel activist in Washington put it, “This is what Bibi gets for doing what Obama wanted?”

Netanyahu on Wednesday said “I am being attacked personally only because I am defending the state of Israel.”

As Goldberg spells out, “chickensh–” is only one of many adjectives Obama’s top advisers have used to characterize Netanyahu in private. He’s also described as “recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and ‘Aspergery’.”

But chickensh– is the one that must sting Bibi the most. After all this is a man who has lived in the shadow of his older brother Yonatan, the only Israel commando killed in the raid thatNetanyahu bro freed the hostages at the raid on Entebbe, Uganda. Inside Bibi’s own political party, Likud, his critics often paint him as too timid to take military action.”  Daily Beast 29 Oct., 2014  (Netanyahu brother on right – click to expand pic)

Sharona Schwartz reported, “Israeli Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, a leading political rival of Netanyahu’s, came to the prime minister’s defense Tuesday night, accusing the administration of “throwing Israel under the bus.”

“The leader of Syria who slaughtered 150,000 people was not awarded the name “chickens**t,” Bennett wrote on Facebook. “Neither was the leader of Saudi Arabia who stones women and homosexuals or the leader of Iran who murders freedom protesters.”

“The prime minister of Israel is not a private person. He is the leader of the Jewish state and the entire Jewish people. Cursing the prime minister and calling him names is an insult not just to him but to the millions of Israeli citizens and Jews across the globe,” Bennett declared.”

Your comment pretty much sums it up Jack, , I am almost sure this will go the way of other Obamas gaffes and no one will be held accountable, unless Obama needs a fall guy to save face, if only to preserve the Jewish vote.

However I am positive that this starts in the oval office and its stench has penetrated the entire WH administration.

Today America needs friends abroad more than ever, this sure isn’t the way to keep them, and I would hope Netanyahu recognizes this false character assignation as another Obama failure in office.

I’ve never heard of comments like this getting outside the White House. It’s what happens when you have dangerous, classless amateurs in power. It sure doesn’t do our image any good. If only Romney had been elected…I may not like everything about the guy, but he was a class act. At least he had brains and he looked and acted the part of a Statesman, unlike Obummer and his minions.

If this is true it shows how incredibly prejudiced and ignorant this administration of amateurs really is.

According to Biography.comNetanyahu “joined the Israeli military in 1967, moving into the special operations force that rescued a hijacked airplane at the Tel Aviv airport in 1972.”:

In 1967, he returned to Israel to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces’ elite unit, “Sayeret Matkal,” and took part in a number of military operations, including the dramatic 1972 rescue of a hijacked Sebana passenger jet. Codenamed “Operation Isotope,” the rescue was led by future Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

Netanyahu returned to the United States that same year and went on to receive degrees in architecture and business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1976, he was employed by the Boston Consulting Group, but returned to Israel following the death of Yoni, his eldest brother, who was killed attempting to free hostages from a hijacked Air France airliner in Uganda. Netanyahu became highly involved in international counterterrorism efforts, which helped launch his political career: first serving in the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C. (1982-84), then serving as the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations (1984-88). During his time at the U.N., he successfully led a campaign to declassify U.N. archives on Nazi war crimes.

“Bibi” could run rings around any of them!

Reactions To Polish Official Slamming Obama: Doesn’t Need The Media To Know Who ‘The Real ‘Chickens–t’ Is’:

Many on Twitter have responded positively to a Polish Defense official’s critique of the Obama administration.

This reaction came after a Business Insider article published last week discussed Poland’s preparation for a potential attack from Russia. John Schindler, who authored the piece, interviewed a Polish Ministry of Defense Official regarding Poland’s relationship with the United States in light of the recent diplomatic debacle where a senior Obama administration official referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “chickens–t.”

The official who spoke to Schindler was not too kind to President Obama.

“I didn’t need the Beltway media to tell me who the real chickens–t is….They really have no idea what they are doing, and we know it. You have no idea how many promises we’ve been given, even by the President himself, but there’s never any follow-up, it’s all talk. He thinks he’s on Oprah.”

A senior Polish intelligence official echoed comparable sentiments. “Is it 1939 again? I don’t know, but I think Obama isn’t even a Chamberlain,” he asserted.”

Looks like they’re telling American jokes in Poland these days. I remember when we told Polish jokes. Now the world is laughing AT us instead.
