Obama is set to speak tonight but he speaks out of both sides of his mouth. As pointed out by John Cornyn at National Review, “The Case against Obama’s Amnesty,” Obama once affirmed a much different position on presidential power in earlier times:
Just a few years ago, a prominent national Democrat firmly and unequivocally rejected the idea that the president of the United States could singlehandedly enact an amnesty program for millions of illegal immigrants.
In 2011, for example, this Democrat reminded us that “there are laws on the books that Congress has passed,” and that therefore it would not be permissible for the president to “suspend deportations through executive order.”
In 2013, this same Democrat noted that granting a unilateral amnesty for adults residing in our country illegally was “not an option,” because it would amount to “ignoring the law.”
He has also said “we are a nation of laws” and taking presidential action would make him an “emperor” which he acknowledged he was not.
So if he is not an emperor, why is he acting like one against the will of the people and in conflict with his own stated constitutional position…a gross abuse of power?

“Idaho Republican Congressman Raúl Labrador appeared on MSNBC’s “The Rundown,” telling host José Díaz-Balart that White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest “lied to the American people” when he claimed Republicans weren’t willing to act on immigration reform. “It’s so sad that Josh came onto your show, and he once again lied to the American people,” he said. “It’s sad that the president continues to tell American people that we were not willing to work on immigration reform.”
“You know better than anybody; your brother [Republican Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart] and I worked for six months with the Democrats trying to get an immigration reform package put together. It was something that was going to be acceptable to the House, it was going to include all the areas of immigration that we needed to do. “And the more the White House heard about what the House was doing, the more they interfered,” Labrador continued. “The president’s chief of staff at the time decided to call House Democrats and tell them they needed to stop negotiating with House Republicans, because they wanted the only vehicle for immigration reform, they wanted it to be the Senate bill.”

For all the BS progressive talk about bipartisan cooperation and working together it’s clear, through the actions of Pelosi, Reid, and Emperor Obama, that they have zero interest in a cooperative effort by the representatives of the people. They have behaved as dictators and tyrants and even after a resounding defeat, continue to act against the will of the people.
The entire Democrat Party deserves the disdain of the American people for continuing to support and elect “fundamental transformers” who continually spit in the eyes of the American people…they are scum!

We deserve the truth and we all know we won’t hear it from this administration.
