Yesterday at the Lindt Cafe in the heart of Sidney a well known Muslim cleric took hostages. The standoff with police continued for 16 hours. Several people lost their lives, including the manager who lost his life attempting to disarm the terrorist Sheik. Others were injured as authorities, hearing gunfire, were eventually forced to take out the Sheik. The cleric was known for protests against Australia’s involvement in the war. Today Daniel Greenfield, Frontpage Magazine, posts a letter the Cleric wrote and sent to Barack Obama in 2008 as he ran for President calling him out as an apostate. Today in Pakistan Taliban terrorists enterred a school armed to the teeth and packing suicide bombs. 126 people were murdered in the attack, most of them small children. And in other news, its reported that ISIS terrorists in Iraq are using an ancient weapon to terrorize and intimidate local citizens, a canister filled with deadly scorpions.
These are the latest in a war waged over decades in modern times, centuries if you iclude the full history. How should the free world respond?

You got that right. Not too long ago, in my neighborhood, we had a house fire … that blocked the only access (on weekends) to the elementary school/day care parking lot. Three mini-vans with mothers and children were trapped in the lot, and would be for the hours it would take the fire department to mop up.
But there are two other gates. And the sergeant on that shift had, theoretically, the key. But I could not get either the hysterical cop (I nearly got arrested), or the indifferent (and lying) cop … to put in a call.
We all have stories … just like this … to tell. The cops in this country need to be slapped down … good and hard. And the sooner the better.
Its not censorship, its just that at some point we have to move on. Everyone had their say 5 times over. After awhile we just start repeating ourselves, so for the sake of keeping people interested I had to close the discussion. In the future I think we will just have a time limit. How about after 7 days the discussion should be closed? Anyone have any thoughts on that? That way we could also limit spammers who use old posts. That has been a major problem at PS. And I have been going back and closing those really old articles so spammers can’t pile on.

The FACT is he WAS well known in Australia and he HAD a long record of staging protest against Australian involvement in the war. It is NOT a slur on the faith; it is just the truth about this individual.
Oh poor you (And the mommies and their kids). You were inconvenienced while measures were taken to ensure that the house fire didn’t become a neighborhood fire and nobody got hurt in the process.
You admit the key scenario is only “theory” and yet insist a cop is lying in the next breath. Are you a special case for whom the usual procedures just do not apply? Add to that the special privilege that you should be able to order the cops around in an emergency situation. Wow.

This Iranian immigrant in Australia was what some are calling the fringe of the fringe. As to his true motives, how much was his delusional insanity and how much was learned zealotry is impossible to know now that he’s dead. However, one thing is inescapably true, and this is a truth that even Libby can’t hide from: Wherever Muslims live in large numbers there will be a certain number of dangerous extremists. The distance between Muslim extremists talking about waging jihad and doing jihad is a very short step! This is a quantifiable, measurable, and lethal danger in any society where there are Muslims, there’s no argument anymore, The evidence is in and only a fool would deny it.
No other religions have the dedicated faction for militancy and aggression like Muslims. Muslim extremists and their helpers that are Muslim co-dependents, have gone out of their way to establish themselves at the most violent religious movement in modern times. To this end, there is no measure or degree of proportion with any other religion in the world today.
He was not a cleric. Anybody who’s told you he was … is lying to you.

There were two other gates leading onto two other streets to which the PD had keys, but they were and are lazy, shiftless, inconsiderate, arrogant SOBs who’ve lost any notion they every had of “public service” … and they need to be slapped down … good and hard.
