Corruption Rules America

Posted by Tina

The stench of corruption coming from the White House, Congress, the Justice Department, the IRS and a certain former First Lady as Secretary of State is unprecedented in modern times.

Our President has acted independently in defiance of the Constitution and our laws to push an agenda driven campaign against the American people and our Republic. His latest is an attempt to tie the hands of independent Inspectors General. How long will this man get away with such egregious acts? It would seem for his entire term, despite impeachable offenses.

The Obama Justice Department has racialized American justice. Eric Holder inserted himself into local matters involving police. he has also refused to take action to get to the bottom of the IRS scandal, Hillary’s email scandal, Fast and Furious, or Benghazi when clearly the evidence calls for a Special Prosecutor or at the very least enforced cooperation with Congress. His successor will not serve the people any better.

In Congress our representatives worked behind closed doors using threats and bribes to acquire enough votes to shove the very unpopular ACA (Obamacare) down the throats of the American people. Promises about the effects of that legislation have turned out to be false and misleading. The President lied to the people about what the law would do. The addition of another big government entitlement program doesn’t bode well for our burgeoning debt. Republicans took control of Congress only to prove they are either part of the good old boy Washington club or oafish and artless in efforts to stop the Obama administration’s determination to “fundamentally transform” America.

And then there’s Hillary! The Benghazi affair is yet to be fully exposed. Her arrogant behavior as Secretary of State leaves the American people with many unanswered questions. She is accused of many troubling activities: 1. Using her husbands private email server to hide her activities and correspondence, 2. Improperly sending secret information in those emails, 3. Deciding for herself which emails she would let the government have and which she would destroy, 4. Arranging deals with foreigners while taking quid pro quo donations to her private foundation, and 5. Helping to orchestrate a coverup in the Benghazi terror attack after having failed to properly secure the facility.

Corruption rules America and the American people are tired of it. In various ways we are demanding o be heard. The march on Washington a few years back should have been a wake up call for our representatives in government. Instead the people were dismissed as radicals and kooks. But that was a big mistake. the people are doubling down in our efforts. We are learning to expose the corruption and to eradicate the vermin that steal opportunity, freedom, and our childrens’ futures.

The few articles listed above barely scratch the surface of the levels of corruption polluting Washington DC. Our government keeps getting bigger and more expensive while the American people are asked to settle for a sluggish economy and lost economic and job opportunity, higher costs for healthcare, threats of higher taxes, a big problem with criminals passing back and forth across our border, and other injustices too numerous to mention. Of course certain guests to PS will insist the information has been “discredited.” Don’t you believe it!

Begs the question if our “leaders” and/or elected officials can disobey the law with impunity, why should the rest of us follow the law?

If the average voter could personally walk the halls of Clowngress as I have and see for themselves how the elected officials act, there would be a 2nd American Revolution.

And it’ll be snowing in Hades if I ever vote for an Incumbent again! We need TERM LIMITS!

“Secrecy is the keystone to all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy and censorship. When any government or church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, “This you may not read, this you must not know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man who has been hoodwinked in this fashion; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, whose mind is free. No, not the rack nor the atomic bomb, not anything. You can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him.”

“The Benghazi affair is yet to be fully exposed.”

Really? Then what was the purpose of all those “smoking guns” that were supposed to reveal the truth? (How many “smoking guns” have there been by now anyway?)

“Helping to orchestrate a coverup in the Benghazi terror attack”

There were eight congressional investigations into this claim. Not a single one–not even the Republican-led investigations–found any evidence that there was a cover-up.

The rational conclusion is that there was no cover-up.

Chris you just can’t believe that Hillary is capable of such calculated deception. You also show a strong bias toward anything the right uncovers regarding corruption in the current administration. That’s fine, believe what you want.

But the evidence surrounding her and her own smug, uncooperative behavior point more to the probably that she is guilty, guilty, guilty! The people deserve the truth and congress should get to the bottom of this.

    Don’t like it? Tough beans!

Tina: “Chris you just can’t believe that Hillary is capable of such calculated deception.”

Of course she’s capable of it!

I have no illusions that Clinton is a paragon of ethics. The e-mail scandal seems pretty damning to me. If she’s the Democratic nominee, I will almost certainly vote third party, as I did in the last election. I have no desire to defend Hilary Clinton from allegations of wrongdoing.

What I do have is the desire to defend anyone from false allegations of wrongdoing. That’s what the “Benghazi cover-up” allegations appear to be.

“The people deserve the truth and congress should get to the bottom of this.”

They did get to the bottom of it. But because you didn’t find what you wanted at the bottom, you chose to ignore their findings. So you keep scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The Ben Rhodes e-mails revealed nothing even remotely scandalous. The terrorists WERE motivated by the anti-Muslim video, and they said so; that is no longer in question. The WH was wrong about the protests, but that info came from the CIA, not the WH, and the WH corrected that part soon after the CIA did. You know this already.

I remain skeptical of “anything the right uncovers regarding corruption in the current administration” precisely because of the false and desperate allegations you have thrown around in regards to the Benghazi investigation. The right has proven that it is willing to construct elaborate conspiracy theories in lieu of actual facts too many times for me to take most of their claims seriously. See also the doctored Planned Parenthood video, death panels, the allegation that Obamacare bans mammograms for certain women, Jade Helm, the birther conspiracy, and too many others to count. All of these are instances where right-wingers–and often, you yourself–continued believing ridiculous things long after they were proven false.

People don’t like boys who cry wolf, Tina. You want your allegations taken more seriously? Argue in a more serious manner. When you show a willingness to believe nearly every right-wing conspiracy theory out there without bothering to fact check them, it severely weakens your credibility among those who do not already agree with you.

    Tina,

Let’s go through all the Republican led committee reports on Benghazi shall we?

Let’s also examine who the CIA was supplying the weapons to and the current problems in the middle east.

Also Let’s look at how the FBI and CIA went back and forth trying not to step on each others feet in their press release bull.

Shall we look at all the wasteful spending on these fake investigations which are used to fund raise for the GOP.

it’s like a broken record, Benghazzziiii, IRS! Benghazzziiii! Obama gonna git ur guns…….

I am no fan of Hilliary and would not prefer for her to win the nomination, that said I would vote for her above every GOP candidate on the stump.

Darrell Issa is a corrupt earmarking tool and has absolutely no credibility.

What about the 4500 Americans who died in Iraq in a war created on a lie?

Do you know where ambassador Stevens is buried? ?

There are better arguments against Hilliary, they are the same ones used against GOP Candidates…follow the money.

Let us discuss policy issues rather than play the negative ad game for media to cash in.

Issa needs to face ethics charges. GW and Cheney need to face criminal charges for torture.

Who is your candidate of choice? Let’s talk real issues, real facts.

Phase out medicare seems to be the big issue right now, let’s talk about it. Why do those on medicare want to take it away from future seniors while they use the program?
