I’m grateful to Breitbart for bringing us Ben Carson’s ideas on immigration, His main idea…secure every border and turn off the spigot!
Referring to last Thursday’s debate…
“With immigration, I would have said everybody is concentrating on the southern border, but we have to seal all the borders because it’s not just people from Guatemala we are worrying about – it’s radical jihadists. We must be much more serious about that,” Carson stressed.
He shared his plan to handle the millions of illegal immigrants who are in the country already, explaining, “It’s an unreasonable proposition to think you’re going to round millions of people up and deport them … we have to be realistic.”
“You have to turn off the spigot that dispenses all the goodies – that would stem the flow of people in here,” Carson explained, addressing the increasing entitlement programs via the federal government.
He continued, “Then, I think you have to take care of the 11 million people that are here already and they should have to register and pay a back tax penalty and pay taxes going forward and if they do all of those things they can be registered as guest workers – not as citizens. They can’t vote and they can’t get any of the things that citizens get, but at least they come out of the shadows. If they want to become citizens, they have to get in the back of the line and go through the same process.”
So what do you think? Would it work? Can he persuade the Congress?
I think Ben Carson would be an excellent president. Too bad he is not going to get enough support to win the primary.
Pie even if Dr. Carson fails to get the nomination it won’t be the last time we hear from him. He is a very good educator and his voice and message are hard to counter without looking like a complete fool. He’s an amazing man!
Every day now there is another news story about an illegal killing and/or raping another person/s. This has to stop. We have to have a gov’t that will follow our laws and require states and cities to do the same.
Charge: Illegal Immigrant Killed Three and Unborn Baby, Left Behind ‘Almost Unimaginable’ Scene:
“Another illegal immigrant has been charged with homicide in Lee County, Florida. This time though, the violence that was committed within a family’s home was “almost unimaginable.”
“It was an extremely violent scene, even for us. All homicide scenes are normally violent, but even for us, this scene was what we considered almost unimaginable,” Lt. Matt Sands said on Thursday.
Suspect Brian Hyde, 19, was pulled over for reckless driving and law enforcement officers arrested him when they found that he was covered in blood. He was subsequently charged with the killings of Dorla Pitts, 37, her pregnant 17-year-old caught Starlette Pitts and Starlette’s boyfriend Michael Kelly Jr. He faces three counts of second-degree murder as well as a charge in the murder of Starlette’s unborn baby.
The only person left alive in the home was an 18-month-old girl, orphaned when her parents Starlette Pitts and Michael Kelly Jr. were murdered with what is described as sharp force trauma.”
