CA Senator Feinstein, “Never More Concerned, ISIL Not Contained”

Dianne FeinsteinPosted by Tina

California Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) spoke out today on MSNBC to say that she is extremely concerned about ISIS attacks in America:

I have never been more concerned. I read the intelligence faithfully. ISIL is not contained. ISIL is expanding. They’ve just put out a video saying it is their intent to attack this country.

And I think we have to be prepared. I think, hopefully, France will go for a Chapter 5, which will bring NATO into it.

Hopefully, we will work with our allies to put together the kind of coalitions and attack plans in more than one place at a given time.

There’s only one way we are going to diminish them and that is by taking them out, because they are growing. They are in more than a dozen countries now.

They are sophisticated. They have apps to communicate on that cannot be pierced, even with a court order. So they have a kind of secret way of being able to conduct operations and operational planning. So we should take this very, very seriously.

Feinstein speaks in contrast to President Obama who before the Paris attack announced that we had ISIS “contained.” Feinstein has served on the Senate Intelligence Committee for some time and receives regular briefings the Congress does not see. When she says she has read the intelligence and is concerned, especially in opposition to some of the Presidents remarks, we can believe her.

Tonight a report from FOX validates her concerns (video). New video released by ISIS celebrates the success in Paris and shows images of specific sites in New York City with bombers ready to enter the buildings.

People in America, in our big cities and big sports venues, need to step up their situational awareness. The people are the first line of defense

    Oh, goodie! She’s “concerned?”
Anyone else wanna bet that DiFi will bow to Obumble and will not vote in favor of putting a hold on accepting Syrian refugees?

  2. Tina says:

    Looky here!

With the White House scrambling to defend its resettlement program and Republicans pressing to “pause” or even eliminate it, liberals were alarmed earlier this week when third-ranking Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York expressed openness to a time-out on resettling Syrian refugees. Meanwhile, Democrats battling in competitive races from Ohio to New Hampshire to Nevada are voicing concerns with the vetting process for refugees fleeing Syria, a nation millions have left since a civil war began four years ago.

New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan, who is challenging Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) in her bid for reelection, urged the federal government to stop accepting Syrian refugees until the process is reviewed. Nevada Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto wants U.S. intelligence officials to sign off on the vetting process before admitting more refugees. And former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, aiming to unseat GOP Sen. Rob Portman in Ohio, joined the chorus Tuesday, calling for a “short-term pause” in the resettlement program.

But those responses have triggered strong blowback from liberal Democrats and advocacy groups.

Feinstein urged Obama to accept more refugees last May. That was before Paris.

It wouldn’t surprise me if she’s changed her tune.
