7 Story Homeless Shelter Approved

by Jack Lee

Thanks to a federal grant Chico will soon begin construction on a 465 room, 7 story Rec Center and hotel for Chico’s homeless and low income travelers. The new facilities is designed to accommodate Chico’s growing homeless population thru 2050, thus ending the decades long debate on how to house the travelers and locals in need.

The Hotel will feature state of the art construction in concrete and steel with a lanai for all outside rooms. It will replace the aging Waterford building at 4th and Broadway.

Construction to begin Sept. of next year (2017). The estimated cost of 167 million dollars will be offset by a federal grant to cover the first 60% of construction costs with the remainder to be raised by a municipal homeless tax assessment of $267 for Chico property owners. This is a great day for Chico and we will be leading the way for creative solutions to indigent people marooned by the new Obama Economy.

And there is one last detail …. uh, this is an April Fools joke. Have a nice day!

A friend of mine read this before I put in April fools and thought it was a great idea. lol

Some of the building going on down near the south mall looks a lot like a Chico sized Cabrini Green when they were new. See also this lovely outcome. Notice how nice the inside of the apartment looks, notice the cars being driven, despite the “poverty.”

Chicago and the gangs are a different issue in many ways. But at the same time it all comes back to expecting NOTHING from people, approaching their situation with sympathy rather than empathy, and subsidizing a non-productive, drug addicted, preying-on-others lifestyle.

Does anyone on the left pity the women and children that are subjected to this brokenness every single day? Nope, the socialist ideology takes precedence even when it’s become obvious it isn’t working.

    Speaking of fools …

“President Castro, I think, has pointed out that it, in his view making sure that everybody is getting a decent education or health care, has basic security in old age, that those things are human rights as well.”

“The goal of the human rights dialogue is not for the United States to dictate to Cuba how to govern themselves,” Obama continued. “Hopefully, we can learn from each other.”

    — Barack Hussein Obama

CIMEQ and the myths of Cuba’s health Care System

Yes, we can learn from Cuba — Like how to run a bogus two tier healthcare system and how to run a tin pot communist dictatorship that represses, imprisons and murders dissidents.

No, it’s true. If it were a joke you would have said that Chris, Libby and the rest of the bleeding heart libtards that infest this blog have announced they will shelter some of these homeless in their own homes.

    Jack,

Your favorite radio host will be interviewing a three headed human tonight (Libby, Dewey and Chris). You won’t want to miss it.

After a shocking first time interview, the three-headed person returns to the Coast to Coast AM microphone for a special update in the first hour.
