  1. Libby says:

    And your point is?

  2. Pie Guevara says:

Oh, this is just great. It appears from the photos that the victims are “people of color.” Where is the BLM?

  3. Harold says:

What really can be said, K2 seems to be self regulating solution for drug addicts.

Yes the loss of live is tragic, but these people gave up on themselves first. It is long past the time for others to care more than the addict cared about their own lives.

I do not have much sympathy for any one of them, and their demise may awake others, before it to late for them as well, doubtful , but their is always hope and support for those willing to try for themselves.

    • Libby says:

Yes, but nobody died, Harold. Jack with his photos is making a number of inferences, some false, some racist, some both.

Racism is really a very simple concept. I do not understand why you cannot get it. To presume that because the photos show blacks, all the overdosees were black is racist. To presume that because the overdoses occurred in Bed-Sty, the overdosees are all black is racist.

To infer that black people are more inclined to abuse each other, because they are black, is also racist. Human beings abuse each other. And the chiefly exacerbating factor is poverty, not color.

And, to infer that, because poor people abuse each other, it’s ok for the cops to kill them … this is really sick.

      • Tina says:

Libby please find a few photos of people other than black and send us the link…I’ll feature them in my warning article above. Meanwhile please probe your memory for plenty of photos of indigent white folks who are featured often in Jacks Posts on the homeless, drifters, and pan handlers.

“Human beings abuse each other. And the chiefly exacerbating factor is poverty, not color. ”

        Bologna!

People in all classes and races “abuse each other.”

There is a real crisis in the black community that your ridiculous prejudices and biases against messengers help to mask. The statistics are horrifying. From black on black killing, to abortion of black children, to the break up of black families, to rotten (protected) teachers and schools, to high levels of male incarceration, to a shortage of suitable marriage partners for educated black women…there is a crisis that cannot be blamed entirely on poverty. In addition, progressive policy has driven this trend and exacerbated the problems. Attitudes (female) are also the problem. Since the onset of modern feminism we have tried to take the man potential from young boys, a fools errand. So instead of directing all that male energy to positive use we suppress and manage it…and we end up with a lot of “FU” man-boys who turn to drugs, alcohol and gangs.

You cannot disrespect natural tendencies forever without creating chaos and mayhem.

Our nation has never needed a few good men and their influence more than it does right now. We are grossly out of balance…not good.

      • Post Scripts says:

Actually hundreds of people have died from K2 overdoses in a number big cities…show what you guys know. Why didn’t you do some research before you criticized? http://www.scienceworldreport.com/articles/14544/20140507/total-120-synthetic-marijuana-deaths-recorded-texas-past-week.htm

        • Nate says:

Thanks, that article was helpful. Again, I was only talking about the specific incident described in this article when I said no one had died. I didn’t know that others had died from K2 and I wasn’t trying to defend the use of the drug.

        • Libby says:

But none of the 33, which was one of many fallacious inferences to be drawn from you photos.

And I will continue to point out to you your lapses in the areas of integrity, veracity, and civic responsibility in your postings.

      • Harold says:

Yes Libby, it is correct in” these photos” no one died according to medical facilities treating them. I could have been a bit more clear on that point, I do apologize to readers for that, my post was based more on the article I read about people dying from K2 (below from CBS) after viewing this waste of human life from the pictures posted.
The effects of this K2 crap that is readily available to every facet of the public, and its impact on society in general is sickening.

Children (as seen in the pictures,) may become the next generation of addicts. Children’s impressions from just from being exposed to this type of behavior, and becoming desensitized is another problem these addicts create.

        The article I referred to.

Big increase in deaths, poisonings from synthetic marijuana

Synthetic marijuana is back in the news, with some frightening revelations.

New figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show synthetic marijuana killed 15 people in the first half of 2015 — three times as many as the same period in 2014.

Poison control centers across the country have also seen a 229 percent increase in phone calls related to use of the drugs since January.

Synthetic marijuana is a class of designer drugs made up of psychoactive chemicals or a combination of chemicals that are sprayed onto plant material and then smoked or eaten to produce a high. They mimic the effects of THC, the compound naturally found in marijuana, and can be far more potent. Consumers don’t know what chemical compounds are in them, so toxicity and health effects vary widely.

Dramatic spike in synthetic marijuana overdoses

Synthetic marijuana can be purchased online or at small retail outlets, where it’s often promoted as a natural or herbal product. It comes with catchy names like Crazy Clown, Spice, Black Mamba, and K2.

Despite the evident dangers, synthetic marijuana is becoming more and more popular among teens and young adults.

“A lot of these products are marketed as natural and safe and that could be the appeal,” Royal Law, an epidemiologist with CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health, told CBS News.”A lot of these products avoid illegality by changing chemical compounds and packaging the drug as ‘not for human consumption.'”

Most calls to poison control centers concerned use among males with a median age of 26 years. Commonly-reported side effects included agitation, tachycardia (a heartbeat that is too fast), lethargy, vomiting and confusion.

Among 2,961 calls to poison centers, more than 11 percent of callers showed life-threatening signs or symptoms. The report found that another 1,407 callers had moderate effects that were not life-threatening but required treatment.

Law told CBS News that the report highlights the need to increase awareness that synthetic drug use is a serious issue.

“We need to let the public know that if anyone has these products, they need to throw them away,” he said. “People using these products have no idea what is in them.” ”

Libby, As to your usual racist retort lately about the information posted by Post Scripts, your wrong with your inferences once more. I don’t understand why you don’t GET IT either, Post Scripts is not racist in it posting, if anyone is inferring racism it seems to stem from you.

    • Nate says:

What “loss of life?” These people aren’t dead. No one has died from K2 overdosing.

  4. Pie Guevara says:

Obviously these people are full of life! Clearly this is merely an alternate lifestyle — getting loaded, passing out, flooding hospitals.

    BLM need not be concerned.

  5. Pie Guevara says:

Ho hum. Libby accuses Post Scripts of racism again. This vile nonsense from her is really getting old.
