Disturbing Statistic: “Shooting deaths of police up 78 percent this year”

Every headline screams a reason that Hillary Clinton should not be our next president. The party of racial division cannot be allowed to continue in power. Today the Washington Times reported a statistic that is a direct result of racist rhetoric and policy:

The number of U.S. law enforcement officers shot dead on the job is up 78 percent this year compared with the same period last year, according to preliminary data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

In the wake of targeted attacks on police officers this summer in Dallas and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the analysis of law enforcement deaths across the country shows that the 32 firearms-related deaths recorded as of July 20 account for nearly half of the 67 line-of-duty deaths reported by police agencies, with ambushes comprising 14 of the fatal shootings.

The fatalities are still well below the rates of officer deaths in the 1970s, when the number of firearms-related fatalities peaked in 1973 with 156 officers. But Craig W. Floyd, president of the nonprofit officers memorial fund, called the rapid uptick this year “extremely troubling.”

“In the 1970s, you had a lot of parallels to what we are facing now. There was a lot of anti-authority sentiment and a lot of anti-police sentiment,” said Mr. Floyd, whose group maintains the national monument to fallen officers in Washington and keeps statistics on officer deaths. “They did become targets, just as they are becoming targets again today.”

Donald Trump supports and respects the law enforcement community and he speaks honestly to put radical concerns into perspective. No group is ever represented with absolute perfection but neither should the record of any group be exagerated. The party of groups has already taken it’s stand against law enforcement. The very first day of their convention put racism and agitation ahead of law and order. They honored acted out anger and hate above civility and the rule of law. Hillary Clinton should never be given the title of president.

Trump made no donations to first responders or any other group affected by 9/11 in the aftermath of that attack. Clinton worked hard to pass healthcare bills for first responders, bills that were opposed by many in the GOP.

We know who really supports police officers based on their actions. Clinton stood up for police and other first responders while Trump did nothing.

Clinton has fought for people like this her entire life. Trump is only out for himself.

Rudy Giuliani disputes this claim. Trump lost hundreds of friends when the towers came down. Rudy Giuliani said during his convention speech that Trump always came forward to help, even before 911, but he insisted on contributing anonymously! (mark 5:00 on the video).

Giuliani isn’t the only one who is aware of Trumps quiet generosity.

Trumps ex butler also had very good things to say about his former boss’s generosity and kindness.

      I posted this list before.

The press has to disparage Trump because Bill and Hillary are all about themselves. Everything else is smoke and mirrors…like that story about dodging sniper fire i Bosnia.

Just like Hillary fought for the rape victims of her husband.

Every crime involving a death should be brought to justice including those by bad cops.
