Debate Tonight ~ First Question to Hillary ~ Trump Tapes

Posted by Tina

As predictable as the sun rising in the morning the first question to be asked in this evenings debate will be to Hillary about the newly released very old Trump tapes.

From CNN:

The first set of questions at Sunday night’s presidential debate will be about Donald Trump’s vulgar comments on a newly published 2005 videotape, and the fallout from it.

And Hillary Clinton will get the first question.

Moderators Anderson Cooper of CNN and Martha Raddatz of ABC have adjusted their plan for the debate in light of the Trump tape, sources told CNNMoney.

While everything is subject to change until air time, an ABC source said — perhaps confirming the obvious — that Trump and Clinton will both be prompted to address the matter.

A coin toss by the Commission on Presidential Debates determined that Clinton will speak first.

“Is that a heads I win; tales you lose kinda coin toss?” I ask cynically.

Tonight’s debate is supposed to be a Town Hall style debate. The questions will come from “ordinary” Americans. Are they hand picked? Will they be treated as props? Are we thoroughly disgusted yet? And while the indescribably ambitious and hypocritical shrew and liar, Hillary Clinton, plays out her wicked political game and the left media thrills at the chance for big ratings and high drama to promote her, where will the very real everyday concerns of the American people be? Indeed do any of these elitists give a damn about the concerns of the American people?

One Response to Debate Tonight ~ First Question to Hillary ~ Trump Tapes

  1. Libby says:

It was the first question to both of them, and Hillary answered first.

Why do you always have to … misrepresent … things? Makes you look like a liar … or maybe just someone who has to embroider on the truth to strengthen a weak position. You don’t want that, do you?

You have to admit, though, it was only Hillary who said actual things. Trump just bloviated and pouted. But he did not sputter incoherence. He has improved.

Tina, would you be willing to tell me exactly what … explicitly what … do you suppose was in the 30,000 emails? Her disdain for you deplorables? You already know all about that. What else? Her inabilility to refrain from peddling her influence? You already know all about that as well.

If you were wondering, this is why harping on the thing is not doing anything for either Trump or you any good. You’re not going to move anybody who is not already in your camp … and the rest of us are bored to tears with it.
