Correcting the Record: Melania Wins Defamation Suit Against Daily Mail

Posted by Tina

In case there are a few haters that didn’t get the memo, Melania Trump never worked for an escort service.

Indeed, the Daily Mail has been forced to retract it’s false story and apologize:

“We accept that these allegations about Mrs. Trump are not true,” said the newspaper in a joint statement, “and we retract and withdraw them. We apologize to Mrs. Trump for any distress that our publication caused her.”

Melania was asking $150 million in lawsuits filed in the US and Briton. The Daily Mail incurred $300 million in damages and fees when all was said and done. Trashy politics can be expensive.

That disgusts me, more worried about her Brand. Presidency for profits so American!

Oh wait she is not really an American! She is a Slovenian immigrant who worked illegally on the wrong kind of visa and married Trump. Her father belonged to the Communist Party. She was brought up with those views.

But wait! Concentrating on that suit means………………She failed to order the Eggs! The Traditional White House Easter Egg Hunt is now a disaster.

    • Tina says:

Just had a thought. Maybe you are “disgusted” because you are one of the vile creatures who spread these lies about Melania.

Name the “profits” made due to “the presidency?”

  2. Tina says:

The “wrong kind” of visa? What nonsense!

    GQ

Paolo Zampolli, a wealthy Italian whose business interests in New York are broad and vague, brought Melania over on a modeling contract and a work visa…

She grew up in a country that was part of the old Soviet Union…that doesn’t make her a communist. In fact she grew up in a traditional family that valued the work ethic and managed to provide for themselves quite nicely.

I do not feel compelled to take it back. The republic is toast.

  3. Pie Guevara says:

The White House can always hire Dewey to suck a few eggs, that is if they can manage to lure him away from his obsession with choking his chicken in Post Scripts.

  4. Pie Guevara says:

Re: “That disgusts me, more worried about her Brand. Presidency for profits so American!”

Melania is a creative, intelligent, attractive human being and successful business woman. She is also a loving, caring parent and humanitarian. In short, Dewey, she is everything you are not.

So, of course, it is natural for a depraved, twisted, hate-filled degenerate like you Dewey — who will never be anything but a bilious and angry loser with no socially redeeming qualities whatsoever — to be disgusted when she rightly wins a lawsuit against some vile journalists who attempted to assassinate her character with an evil and vicious libel.

So you see Dewey, you surprise no one here with your disgust. You are entirely predictable.

  5. Libby says:

Holy Moses! Is there not going to be a White House Easter Egg Hunt !?!?

That’s it. The republic is toast.

  6. Chris says:

Good for Melania. As I’ve said before, the Daily Mail is notoriously dishonest, and they deserved to pay for their smear of Melania.

I think the president’s family should be off limits and I find the attacks on Melania and even Barron by some liberals disgusting.

Ivanka has taken a more active role in the White House than past president’s children, and of course the sons are running Trump’s business, so I don’t think they should be off limits to criticism provided that criticism is truthful. But Melania has made the choice to not be an active First Lady and I think she is entitled to that choice. Stooping to attacking her character and lying about her is beyond the pale.
