It’s hard to say what might have moved Kim Jong Un to make the decision. Was it good old fashioned planning and diplomacy, the silly factor of recent Tweets, or the embarrassing news that one of Kim’s test missiles hit one of his own cities? Maybe those Presidential tweets are not at all “petty” but instead quite pointed. Maybe they are part of the overall strategy to press the dictator to get off his game playing merry-go-round and make a smart decision for the sake of his nation (and his life).
As for us, we must stick to the plan and hold steadily with the South Koreans in the face of the despots threat:

Hello…we are not dealing with a reasonable person. Narcissistic bullies don’t respond positively to nice gestures and the hand of friendship. They have to be broken before they come around.
One of these days it might dawn on the very arrogant members of left (and right wing) Trump haters that they could learn a thing or two from him and the members of his excellent team. (Hint for the left: Trade Kim for a guy bullying a gay person and compare your thinking process)
