Memo Release – Quote of the Day – Media Complicit

Posted by Tina

George Neumayr of The American Spectator writes regarding the left’s response to the release of the memo:

Suddenly, the admirers of Daniel Ellsberg are shills for suppressing government secrets. These are the same pundits who told everyone to go see The Post, Hollywood’s nostalgic tribute to the release of the Pentagon Papers.

We have come to expect as much from game playing radical left phonies who now find themselves embroiled (and in denial) in a scandal far worse than Watergate. In this disgraceful case the media has been complicit, acting in lock step with the criminals.

Hillary, the DNC, and Obama administrators repeatedly sought to use the powers of government to tip the election in Hillary’s favor. So arrogant were they that we heard repeatedly prior to the election that Trump couldn’t win…Hillary was holding all the cards…or so they thought.

The release of this memo represents 10% of what is known. Greater transparency is now needed so that the American people can be assured that bad actors have been vanquished as the guilty are jailed and properly disgraced.

Related article also by George Neumayr, further illuminates:

The media’s response to the release of the Nunes memo surpasses the level of Pravda covering a Soviet show trial. No sooner had the memo appeared than journalists immediately began throwing sand into their audience’s eyes. The story, according to the media, is not that Obama’s Justice Department/FBI snookered FISA court judges and used Hillary’s purchased Steele dossier to spy on Trumpworld. No, the scandal is that the evil Republicans exposed this outrage, and that Trump, the ultimate target of this espionage, has the gall to defend himself. How dare a defendant in our kangaroo trial defend himself with the truth — that’s the upshot of all the media’s bleating.

All you can do is laugh at the intensity of the gibbering propaganda and misdirection, which is nothing more than the rage of a ruling class nabbed in an audacious act of political espionage.

What will follow this 10% of released information?

Prominent names in this memo include: James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Dana Boente, Rod Rosenstein…And Barack Obama.

A food fight between the O-man and Hillary could ensue in the midst of all of this. Both are as slippery and slimy as eels.

It’s frustrating that the wheels of justice turn so slowly but hang in there, guys. The cover has been lifted and sunlight will, on time, fully reveal the entire band of criminals involved in this scandal.

The memo is just the first step–the tip of the iceberg.

    Step 1–The memo.
Step 2–The 8 page Senate memo (more criminal evidence) Grassley/Lindsey.
    Step 3–2nd House memo.
Step 4–The OIG memo w/1.2 million documents and all NSA intercepts (SMS,
    phone, email)

Do not be lulled into thinking that if only the good guys can uncover enough slime, those of the deep state will slither away in shame and fear. They will not stop. Ever. Not until they are run to ground like the cockroaches they are and center punched between the running lights.

    • Post Scripts says:

The Post of the week must go to RHT for this summation which is worth repeating a million times, “Do not be lulled into thinking that if only the good guys can uncover enough slime, those of the deep state will slither away in shame and fear. They will not stop. Ever. Not until they are run to ground like the cockroaches they are and center punched between the running lights.”

The two things I want to see are the IG’s report due out next month and Tom Fitton announced he’s suing for the FISA docs that were presented to the judge. Said he’d sued and gotten them for other cases.

Bring everything out into the light. If there’s nothing to hide no one should object, which is why the dems are loudly objecting.

  3. Libby says:

    Poor Tina. Poor Jack.

Is there anything else to say? Alas, not.

    • J. Soden says:

      Yes. Even POORER Libby!

    • Post Scripts says:

Dear Libby, alas, but there is something else to say! This is a never ending story of corruption…. how could it be over? lol

The FBI, like any other government agency or business, is not immune from the corrupt influences by the few in high places that will occasionally abuse their authority. So, with all due respect, please don’t be too quick to dismiss the GOP concerns out of hand.

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.

    • Harold says:

Once more a Libby typical drive by defamation of character , pungent with her road kill weary load of smear and condemnation slur generated by liberal BS, which is continuously replenished by the fear of the truth.

Wont’ she ever get a hint we are at best amused at her antics and veiw her comment with the ignominy they represent.

Another excellent article by liberal law professor Jonathan Turley.

Outcry over the Nunes memo is damning for Democrats and FBI:
“There are indeed two narratives competing in this controversy, one involving improper political influences in the FBI, and another of improper political pressure from the White House. Both could well be true but it is bizarre to suggest that only one of those allegations should be investigated. The FBI and the intelligence agencies have a long and documented history of such abuse. This includes the targeting of political leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. As I discussed earlier, Subsection 11(g) of Rule X was created to allow members of Congress to vote to release classified information when the majority determines “that the public interest would be served by such disclosure.”

This serves the public interest, as would a response from the Democrats and the FBI. Regardless of what comes out of the merits of the Russian investigation, Congress should investigate the misuse of classified proceedings in both the securing of the FISA applications and the later effort to prevent the release of this memo.”

If Mueller’s investigation was based on a lie wouldn’t his charges against Flynn be unfounded?

Mueller Team Seeks Delay In Flynn’s Sentencing To Update Probe Report:

“The Mueller team and Flynn’s lawyers submitted a joint court filing Wednesday, saying both parties are not ready to schedule a sentencing hearing for Flynn.

The special counsel’s office requested more time to deliver a status report on the case.

The report was originally scheduled to be submitted to the court Thursday.

The federal judge granted the request and rescheduled the next hearing for May 1st, marking the deadline for a joint status report on the probe.”

Greg Jarrett reporting today on Twitter that Rosenstein met with members of Clowngress and threatened them with exposure of their emails if they didn’t help derail the Memo’s release. If true, Rosenstein needs firing!

And the release of the FISA memo brings up another question – Why did the Intel Committee sit on the info while FISA was renewed recently? Have a hard time with secret courts operating in our republic!

    • J. Soden says:

Oh, and somebody accurately referred to McCabe, Comey, Ohr, Strzok, Rosenstein, Weissman and Mueller as “Plumbers” today.
Many in today’s moron media would have to look that one up!

    Here’s a simplified timeline of Obumble’s weaponized DOJ/FBI shenanigans.

There has been an attempted soft coup. We are now engaged in a cold civil war. The evidence marches ever closer to HRC, and she is joined at the hip to BHO.

  10. Chris says:

Many of the leftists I’ve seen have been asking for more disclosure, not less. For instance, the New York Times today asked for the release of the actual FISA warrant application, which would either corroborate or contradict the Nunes memo.

The memo itself contains at least one error–Comey didn’t describe the Steele dossier as “salacious and unverified,” he said parts of it were–and the other central claims, such as that McCabe said there would be no warrant without the dossier, and that the investigators did not tell the court that the dossier was compiled with a political motive remain completely unsupported. That’s why I think releasing the memo was useless, while releasing the actual primary source documents would be far more informative.

I think it’s completely plausible that the FBI and DOJ did not act properly in getting the warrant against Carter Page. I also think it’s obvious that the government had every reason to spy on a man they knew had previously been recruited by a Russian spy, who had financial interests in Russia and spoke of the country sympathetically even in reference to their more hostile actions, and who continued to have suspicious contacts with the country during Trump’s campaign. Of course that doesn’t mean this warrant was legally obtained, but as of now I see no reason to trust the claims in the memo. #releasethefisawarrant

Biased FBI and DOJ Officials Broke The Law And Tried To Decide The Election – an Annotated Timeline:

    “THE TIMELINE OF TRUTH!

    PLS SHARE!!

*This piece was last updated on 2.8.18, 7:32 am PST.

There can be no question, at this point, that certain higher ups in the FBI and the DOJ did not want Hillary to be indicted and did not want Donald Trump to become President. Those efforts were not entirely independent of each other.

Below is a timeline of events – abbreviated though it is – that makes it rather plain that the FBI and DOJ were not investigating potential crimes objectively.

Indeed, they were committing crimes during the process in aid of their preferred outcomes.”
