What haven’t you heard more about this one? I think I know, he wasn’t using a firearm, so it does not fit the narrative democrats are using. in fact it’s counterproductive because it illustrates the myr4iad of ways lethal weapons can be used to terrorize.. “A Teen drawn to ISIS brought homemade bomb to Utah school, police say a teenage student at a southern Utah high school has been charged with bringing a homemade bomb to the school that was discovered in a backpack emitting smoke and prompted an evacuation, police said Tuesday.

The boy was arrested Monday night after Pine View High School in the city of St. George was evacuated for two hours that afternoon while the FBI and a bomb squad investigated. Police declined to identify the arrested teen or give his age.

Authorities said additional charges also are pending against the teen as a suspect in the raising of the Islamic State group’s flag on a pole at another Utah high school last month just after the Florida mass school shooting that was followed by numerous other threats to schools around the U.S….”

Although a bit disturbing, the teacher wasn’t pointing the gun at a person and the minor injury could be from debris falling from the ceiling. This person needs a refresher course…you don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to use it.

…pointed his gun into the ceiling and accidentally fired it, said Abdul Pridgen, the city’s police chief.

A 17-year-old student was injured by a bullet fragment or by debris that fell from the ceiling, Pridgen said.

The injuries appeared superficial, police said.

I hope this wasn’t a teacher with the need to be his students’ buddy…and fired at their urging for brownie points. Probably not but I’ve known teachers like that.

Several homemade package bombs in Texas also:

    • Two of the explosions happened within hours of each other Monday, sending police scrambling from one crime scene to the next. The first blast happened March 2.

    • The bombs killed a 39-year-old African-American man on March 2, killed a 17-year-old African-American male early Monday morning, and severely injured a 75-year-old Hispanic woman midday Monday. A woman hurt in the Monday morning explosion had non-life threatening injuries, police said.

    • The residents found the packages outside their houses, but none was delivered by the Postal Service or delivery services like UPS or FedEx, police said.

    • Police also have not decided if these are hate crimes, but said that’s a possibility because of the victims’ races.

    • “The evidence makes us believe these incidents are related,” Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said.
