San Francisco Crime

Posted by Jack

Planning a road trip to San Francisco?  Here’s a tip – don’t.  Last year crime victims reported over 31,000 smash and grab thefts from vehicles and this year its worse.  Keep in mind there many more categories of crime, so thefts from vehicles is just the tip of the ice berg.

The TV crew for “Inside Edition” went searching for a crime story and they sure got it.  They planted cameras in a bait car and place an expensive speaker in the back seat, then locked the car and left.   It only took 2 minutes for two crooks to make a move on the bait car, smash out a window and steal the stereo speaker and purse.  While filming them stealing, other thieves breaking into the tv’s crew’s parked van.  The crooks stole several thousand dollars worth of television equipment.

Despite good pictures of at least one suspect, no arrests have been made.

Why would you even consider such a thing? … a road trip to SF? Not even a triple-dipping, government pensioner can afford such a thing … so why all the angst?

Could it be that you have, yet again, let media purveyors, who care only about ratings, push your all-to-easily pushable buttons?

Tootle up to Oregon. Kill something.

  2. Tina says:

Yesterday Libby was grousing about the bums sleeping on her train…today she advocates letting SF continue to slide into a hell hole of crime, filth, and slime.

Is it any wonder we say that lefties are not suited to running anything in government. She’s emotionally conflicted and stuck in a groove…more money, more money, more money.

I avoid the area and will continue to do so.

I have noticed that when things get … just too silly … on the federal level … this is when you revert to the same social issue complaining you’ve been doing for 30 years. And it’s so boring. Why do you write about that? … when you could be writing about this:

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/09/18/mark-judge-brett-kavanaugh-classmate/1343556002/

Let’s talk about our Supreme Court nominee’s “lifestyle” (an indebted gambler), his “healthy shame” (“I do not recall”), his “responsible adult life” (2015: “what happens at Georgetown stays at Georgetown” … and there’s a nice sentiment for a father to own).

There is no hiding from this, the latest entry in “The Most Entertaining Presidential Administration EVER” contest. Oh, fun, fun fun.

Libby, you assume the woman is telling the truth. Kavanaugh denies knowing this person and says he wasn’t even at the alleged event. His friend (Judge) says he never saw anything like what this woman alleges. Now it looks like she won’t be appearing to testify under oath. Hmmmm… well, that doesn’t matter, the dirt is out there! Kavanaugh has been thoroughly smeared and that’s all that really matters, truth is irrelevant.

      • Tina says:

Libby wants us to talk about what some lying leftist lawyer cooked up to tank this nominee. Why bother. She’s a reluctant accuser. She has no evidence. She has no witnesses. She withheld this accusation through several confirmation hearings at the lower court level. She keeps changing her mind about tesitfying…her lawyer must really be working on her and pushing her hard. Her lawyer is a long time activist being paid by George Soros to do this. Feinstein has known about the letter since July and waited until the eleventh hour to turn it over to the FBI and cause a stink.

The whole thing smells to high heaven. It’s Anita Hill all over again. It’s lawyer activist pressure similar to the pressure they placed on Roe (Norma McCorvey) on abortion. Stinks I tell ya, stinks.

      • Libby says:

“Libby, you assume the woman is telling the truth.”

Well … aren’t you just the most predictable thing ever.

So can we believe the man? … Mark Judge … author of the adventures of Brad McKavanaugh! It’s a shame you don’t walk my side of the street. You cannot be vastly entertained.

This might be my clue to slam the entire gender. (It is so easy.) But this is serious, and the Supreme Court of the land we are talking about, and there do exist human males who, drunk or sober, 15 or 55, would NEVER forceably, physically, subjugate a fellow being to their own pleasure. They are possessed of a moral grounding and an intellect that simply will not permit such things. Those are the fellas I want on the court.

According to the FBI, about 95,000 forcible rapes were reported in 2004. Based on the statements and studies cited above, some 47,000 American men are falsely accused of rape each year.

            A Voice for Men:

pattern to focus on females in emotional pain and offer help while ignoring the emotional pain of men and boys is the default in the United States. This not only leaves our men and boys without help, it also leaves us with an ignorance about their emotional pain.

To get a sense of the emotional pain of the falsely accused listen to the words of a young man falsely accused of rape via an article on slate.com:

My girlfriend was raped several years ago. I was falsely accused of rape less than a year ago. I contacted her (I had known her before her incident) because I was desperate for someone to talk to who would understand what I was going through. To my great relief, it turned out that we understood each other very well. From the initial stages of suicidal thoughts and not being able to function to the long-term fear, mistrust, and guilt that are facts of our lives, it turns out that her experience of being raped and mine of being falsely accused of rape were very similar.

He touches on some of the hallmarks of a false accusation which he and his girlfriend realized were very similar to her reaction to having been raped. The loss of functioning, the suicidal thoughts, the long-term fear and mistrust along with the potent guilt are a few of their similar reactions.

It often starts out innocently enough. He hears that she has accused him of something he didn’t do. He is not so worried, at least not at first. He knows he did nothing wrong and figures that when people get the facts that this will blow over like a dark cloud that never rains a drop. But, to his shock, he starts seeing that even when he speaks the truth about what actually happened he is still considered a criminal.

Where does an innocent man, and his family, go to get his reputation, his career, his way of life back?

NY Daily News: “Jun 06, 2016 · Brian Banks, a promising high school football player who had committed to play at Southern Cal, was an innocent man accused of rape…”

Daily Mail: “Jemma Beale jailed for falsely accusing 15 men of rape ‘Attention-seeking liar’, 25, who falsely accused 15 men of rape and sexual assault causing one innocent man to spend two years in prison”

KTLA: “A man who spent the past 16 years in prison for the sexual assault of three women in L.A. County was exonerated Monday…”

Washington Examiner: “Mark Weiner wanted to do a good deed by giving a young woman who was walking alone at night a ride home. Unfortunately for Weiner, that young woman was looking to get sympathy from a man she was…”

Worcester News: “A GAY man falsely accused of rape by a lesbian who became infatuated with him says he has lost faith in the justice system and believes any appeal would be pointless.”

WSBTV: “Man falsely accused of rape, freed after 17 months in jail GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – A Gwinnett County man has spent the last 17 months in jail for allegedly raping a woman at a party.”

Huffington Post: “Aug 20, 2013 · A Hampton, Virginia woman who falsely accused a man of raping her — landing him in prison for four years — will spend two months in jail.”

FOX News: “Aug 04, 2013 · A quarter-century after her name made national headlines and became infamous, Tawana Brawley is finally paying for making a false rape charge…”

Women can be big fat liars, and, as Edith Anne always said, “That’s the truth, thpbbbbbb!”

False accusations hurt and cause real harm in every real case of assault and rape. Shame on all of you!!!

Evidence is important. Timely reporting is important. And elections have consequences. Learn to live with it and for heaven’s sake, crank up the level of integrity in those who represent you!

“…my clue to slam the entire gender”

A statement that only harms radical feminism. Your position is all men are guilty by design, we don’t have to have evidence or prove a case against them. “The seriousness of the charge” is all that’s needed. We can accuse anyone we disagree with to ruin them personally and professionally to keep them off the court. You have zero credibility at this point. No adult that supports the rule of law would share this position. Congratulations, Libby, you have become the thing you hate, a chauvinist pig.

The accuser has no credibility thus far. Her reluctance to come forward and testify reveals the political nature of this ludicrous charge.

Absolutely irresponsible, totally irrational and incredibly devious. Pathetic.

Me too Tina! I enjoy going to the DeYoung, but won’t be going anymore.

It’s a pathetic shame what has become of San Francisco. It took a whole series of really bad legislative decisions, starting in Sacramento and extending to the City Council of SF to do it too. This was once in top shape. But, the influx of liberalism and literally hundreds of really bad decisions over the course of a few decades has led us to this low place. We’re infested with crime, filth, gangs, and drugs. It’s a travesty.

    Lippy’s position, “No big deal.”

S.F. is the crime ridden third world hell hole she and her “liberal” ilk have sought to turn it into.

    Congratulations!
