Abstract Painting, No. 1 and No. 2 – Jack Lee Art

Following the teachings of the famous American abstract artist, Robert Burridge, I crafted these two paintings using the “Burridge color wheel” process to determine my colors.

Abstracts are nice, but still like my aviation art best.

Ahhhh … I have been re-watching Brideshead Revisitied … so soothing in these trying times:

Cordelia: Charles? … modern art is all bosh … isn’t it?

    Charles: Great bosh, Cordelia.

So, what “bosh” do you like, Lippy? Psychedelic? Renaissance? Transgressive? Fauvism? Rococo? Socialist realism? …

Oh, don’t answer. I do not really give a crap. Your only aim here is to insult Jack.

Put up some of your art or shut up.

Abstract doesn’t do it for me. Never has. I much prefer aviation art, yours included. Along those history lines, here is today’s good news story–

    1) Jack, I would like to see you do some impressionistic aircraft paintings in oil.

    2) Post links to very large images of your work. These are too small for me to enjoy.

    Possible alternate titles —

Number 1) Dock on lake at Camp Pocahontas

    Number 2) Sunspot 1
