Civility and Voting Rights Should Always Matter

Posted by Tina

Civility has reached an all time low when political leadership advocates violent protest and the desire to win by “any means necessary.” Several decidedly uncivil examples have been in the news since Trump won the presidency. The propensity toward incivility seems to be getting more intense as we approach the midterm elections. The Kavanaugh hearing was a disgrace with radical feminists making complete asses of themselves as a “means” to power. There is no excuse for Senator Feinstein’s behavior. A number of Republicans, including the President, have received envelopes suspected to contain the deadly poison, ricin. See here and here. Antifa shows up to create mayhem and violence on a regular basis. The Democrat leadership supports and promotes this incivility through their rhetoric.

The subject of voter fraud is ever present at election time, mostly because the left has no interest in uncovering and fixing voter role problems to ensure that every legitimate American vote counts. They deny a problem exists and jump at the chance to scream “racism” whenever anyone suggests there is indeed a problem. In doing so they shut down the space for rational discussion and problem solving. The mantra is everything, “By any means necessary.

We can’t let incivility in any form intimidate us. We can’t let despicable tactics prevent us from speaking our minds or getting to the bottom of fraudulent voting. So, we persist. Hats off to Deroy Murdock of National Review for calling attention to analysis on voter roles by Judicial Watch:

Some 3.5 million more people are registered to vote in the U.S. than are alive among America’s adult citizens. Such staggering inaccuracy is an engraved invitation to voter fraud.

The Election Integrity Project of Judicial Watch — a Washington-based legal-watchdog group — analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2011-2015 American Community Survey and last month’s statistics from the federal Election Assistance Commission. The latter included figures provided by 38 states. According to Judicial Watch, eleven states gave the EAC insufficient or questionable information. Pennsylvania’s legitimate numbers place it just below the over-registration threshold.

My tabulation of Judicial Watch’s state-by-state results yielded 462 counties where the registration rate exceeded 100 percent. There were 3,551,760 more people registered to vote than adult U.S. citizens who inhabit these counties

It comes as no surprise that California stands out as the state with the most potential for voter fraud. San Diego County’s 138% registration translates to 810,966 potential fraudulent votes. But there’s more:

Los Angeles County’s 112 percent rate equals 707,475 over-registrations. Beyond the official data that it received, Judicial Watch reports that LA County employees “informed us that the total number of registered voters now stands at a number that is a whopping 144 percent of the total number of resident citizens of voting age.”

Irregular registrations in California represent a potential 1,736,556 illegal votes.

See Murdocks article for statistics in other states and a link to a spreadsheet he developed on the subject. Murdock, who refers to irregular registrations as “ghost voters,” also makes it clear that everyone should care about this issue:

President Donald J. Trump’s supporters might be intrigued to learn that Hillary Clinton’s margins of victory in Colorado (136,386) and New Hampshire (2,736) were lower than the numbers of ghost voters in those states. Clinton’s fans should know that Trump won Michigan (10,704) and North Carolina (173,315) by fewer ballots than ghost voters in those states.

You would think the issue would unite Americans. But unfortunately Democrats have become a party that favors lawlessness, incivility, and mayhem.

Hillary Clinton recently said civility will return only when Democrats are back in charge. Former Attorney General Eric Holder recently said, When they go low, we kick them.” And a Rasmussen poll in July found that 54% of Democrats think those living in our country illegally should have the right to vote.

We can’t bring honesty and civility to America overnight. Democrats have made it pretty clear they want none of it. We can’t work together to clean up voter roles, Democrats fight that too. But we can continue to inform the public about how radical and uncivil the Democrats have become. The Democrat Party has finally gotten so desperate for power it’s willing to take the good guy mask off. They play dirty and they are proud of it!

Our nations founding provides a means to addressing grievances in a civil manner. Democrats seem to prefer the revolutionary tactics that put tyrannical men such as Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, or Chairman Mao in power. Republicans and Independents must vote this time around and keep voting to rid ourselves of these radical elements. We have much to lose if the unlawful, uncivil, un-American, out of control left gains power in the House or Senate. Staying home is not an option. We cannot let the crazy mob take control to continue the mayhem in an official capacity.

    Are you insane?

You can take your plea for civility and shove it up The Donald’s very large and extraordinarily uncivil hiney.

    I mean … are you insane ???????

    • Tina says:

      Touchy, touchy!

What’s all the vitriol about, Libby?

Trump is uncivil when he or his family is attacked or he is falsely accused. I can’t blame him for that, although I’d prefer an atmosphere that would make such ugliness unnecessary. When, at an early Trump rally, he encouraged his supporters to stand up for themselves he had a point. Lefty antagonists had come to rudely make trouble not to listen to the message. There isn’t a reason in the world that anyone should put up with that type of rude, uncivil behavior. Trump also engaged in the kind of banter that most contenders engage in if they expect to win, name calling and such. His motive was winning not hatred and personal destruction. He showed he was more than willing to let bygones be bygones and make friends of fellow candidates following the election when they did the same.

There is no comparison in anything Trump has said or done that comes close to your parties attitude or tactics. Democrats today seethe with hatred, anger, resentment, and unreasonable and unfounded prejudices. They have embraced unruly protest and the “by any means necessary” ideal. You can pretend otherwise. It won’t matter. Every day Democrats show themselves to be uncivil and devoid of all notions of honest competition and fair play in politics. That’s not just me saying it…it is your leadership and supporters saying it…it is apparent in behaviors and it makes headlines.

Trump works hard every day to make Americans lives better. He does it despite the constant attacks, lies, protests, and criticisms. He’s accomplished a lot in short order…some things your party said couldn’t be done. He’s restoring the middle class, bringing manufacturing back, and growing wages. He’s created a more stable world. He’s working with minorities to bring jobs and better schools to places like Chicago and Detroit. He’s working to bring medical costs and drug prices down. Not just promises…results!

      You should be thrilled!

Yes, Trump can be uncivil but in the face of what? A constant barrage of criticism, hatred, protest, anger….and on and on. Your party no longer recognizes the political process. You refuse to accept the result or graciously wait for the next opportunity.

Even Kanye is trashed by you lefties just for having a different opinion …such evil and hate! It’s not exactly what MLK gave his life to establish in America.

I suggest it is your party that’s insane.

      • Harold says:

Tina, this was a excellent post, understandable Lippy’s reply was only bluster, BS and bias posted with the contempt and jealous rage knowing the far left agenda of the Obama administration failed America miserably. Obama only talked a good game and then sat on the bench while America lost, starting from the first quarter, even though they held a home field advantage .

The resent actions of the far left is a sad commentary of violence, rage and the results of their ideology, which leads to a cities decline as evidenced by San Francisco, (soon to spread to the state of California)so they attack a effective administration with outbursts fueled by hate, to try and hide their own failures.

So along comes Trump, and with all the positive achievements of Trump, and exposes that the elected Liberals have failed America and thus is a direct challenge to their power base.

The current liberal leaders of San Francisco and their voting base do not seem to possess the common sense or realization they have created its decline, this also has spread to Sacramento. And if the reported over registration numbers are correct as you reported are liberal,(seems more than likely) then the entire State of California will be next.

      • J. Soden says:

Lippy is demonstrating the angst and anger of the Lunatic Lefties when their message has fallen flatter than a pancake. She’d fit right in with the antifa thugs.

      • Cherokee Jack says:

It took me a while to figure out the reasoning behind letting Libby bore us with her blather. After watching the democrats recently, I get it.
Cory Booker and Spartacus, Lizzie Warren and her I/1,000th native pride, Hillary and her wishes to undo our republic, Maxine and her venomous speeches, and Libby aping her role models. I realize we should not only give them the stage whenever and wherever they want it, we should encourage them enthusiastically. The more they share their inner souls, the better.
Stay with it, Libby! Show us more!

      • Libby says:

        I don’t know what’s to be done with you … I really don’t.

From WHOM ???? exactly, do you think some punk calling himself T.I. got the idea it was OK to make a stripper video featuring our First Lady ??????

This is ALL entirely your fault … you! who have promoted a flaming misogynist all the way to the White House …. and if you think I’m going to listen to you snivel about the consequences, you can forget all about it … like you forget everything else it does not suit you to remember.

        GEEEZZZZZZ !!!!!!!!!

        • Tina says:

“…exactly, do you think some punk calling himself T.I. got the idea it was OK to make a stripper video featuring our First Lady ??????”

Oh…so now she’s “our” First Lady?

How this rapper “got the idea that it was OK…” is something you’d have to ask him. Presuming to know his motive could land you on shaky ground.

TI seems to fit into the BLM thread politically, although, he calls himself a libertarian. His lyrics make it pretty clear he thinks (white) cops kill blacks indiscriminately and his race is still being oppressed by the white man. Typical of most liberals. That suggests he’d vote for a Democrat rather than a Republican. He did favor Barack Obama.

He does say he believes in freedom and a live and let live attitude. Could be freedom and no responsibility: He was sentenced to a year and a day of prison in 2007, when he was caught trying to buy an arsenal of guns from an undercover FBI agent. (NRA types believe in legal gun ownership and personal responsibility) He also claims to be a devout Missionary Baptist.

This guy is in the shock business (Rap artist), very successful, and apparently he’s decided he will “overcome” white oppression by “any means necessary.”

I doubt it has as much do with misogyny as it does his disdain for the white guy in the oval office (He and Kanye have sparred about Trump). But if it does he’s had plenty of time prior to the last two years to take his cues from pop culture, Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, and all the others who were loved, celebrated, and promoted (except for Republicans)…in particular by leftist women who called themselves feminists but let the lefty lascivious reprobates off the hook for years!!!

The decline in our culture has a lot to do with everything going on. You can’t tag me with this, Libby, not without looking completely ridiculous.

          • Peggy says:

I’m waiting to see the reaction when someone superimposes Michele Obama’s face on the stripper. I can all ready hear the screams of outrage from the left and the response of hypocrites from the right.

      • Peggy says:

The RNC needs to use “Jobs or Mobs” as the campaign motto for every election from now to the demise of the Democrat party.

Libby’s response, “You can take your plea for civility and shove it up The Donald’s very large and extraordinarily uncivil hiney.” is the perfect example of her party’s attitude toward anyone that believe differently.

Trump is outsmarting them by turning the table around and using their own tactics against them. Rush had an interesting point this morning. Trump said Stormy Daniels had a horse face knowing the media wouldn’t cover that her case against him was thrown out and she had to pay his legal fees. So, he said something that would outrage them enough to want to cover it, getting the news out he wanted out. He won, she lost.

He did the same at a rally when he stated the facts of Dr. Ford’s statement before congress. The leftist media wasn’t reporting it, so he did at the rally and was accused of mocking her. His response was he was just quoting her. If you missed his interview with Leslie Stahl watch it and you’ll see him control the interview. Stahl comes off as disrespectful and he gets his points across while she keeps trying to attack him. She interrupted him 64 times in 20+ minutes, which equals two plus times a minutes. During her Obama interview for over twice as long she interrupted him four time. Respect the office if not the man. She did neither His, zinger, “I’m president and you’re not.” was worth the price of admission. He put her down and in her place and she didn’t even know it.

Welcome back. We missed you. Hope you’re ok and your pneumonia didn’t come back.

        • Tina says:

Thanks Peggy. We had a great trip. Went to Idaho to visit our kids and scope out the land. I like it there…the goal is to get the heck out of California by next Fall, God willing.

Unfortunately I caught a rascal of a cold two days after returning and that laid me up for a few days.

Saw some clips from the Stahl interview with Trump, including the “I’m president…” line, but I haven’t had much time today for such things. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I’ve noticed the WH press has gotten a bit more respectful of late. He’s given them more access than most other presidents and they’re finding he’s much more pleasant to be around if you treat him as you would like to be treated. (Imagine that!)

      • Libby says:

“There is no comparison in anything Trump has said or done that comes close to your parties attitude or tactics.”

Trump mocked Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a congenital joint condition that affects the movement in his arms, during a rally in South Carolina.

Top it. Go on. Come up with something from either Barry or Hils that tops it.

Trump claimed that McCain is no war hero because he was captured. This is sickening, and betrays the sensibility of a four-year-old, and I double-dog-dare you to come up with something from either Barry or Hils that tops it.

But this is my favorite: “When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!”

I don’t think anybody’s a big fan of Ms. Amarosa’s, but this reflects much more poorly on the employer than the employee, don’t you think? Your president is the most disgusting excuse for a president … ever.

        • Tina says:

Libby your party and your media are partisan liars. They lie and you buy it every time. Trump did not mock Serge Kovaleski’s disability.

Hillary is famous for her foul mouth and disdain for the people who work for or under her. Then there’s the lie she told the Benghazi families about the cause (video) of their sons’ deaths, lied to their faces! More than outrageous, her behavior was entitled and cowardly.

          And there’s the infamous:

“With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Another kick in the stomach to the families and another irresponsible cover her ass remark showing she had no sense of accountability in her capacity as SOS.

And there’s more: “Where is the *od damn flag? I want the *od damn *ucking flag up every morning at *ucking sunrise” – Hillary to staff at the Arkansas Governor’s mansion on Labor Day 1991.

“*uck off! It’s enough I have to see you *hit-kickers every day! I’m not going to talk to you, too! Just do your *oddamn job and keep your mouth shut.” – Hillary to her State Trooper bodyguards after one of them greeted her with “Good Morning.”

More Hillary: “Bimbos,” “sluts,” “trailer trash,” “rednecks,” and “s**t-kickers.” — Terms Hillary commonly used to describe Arkansans … “God***n, L. D., did you see that family right out of Deliverance? Get me the hell out of here.”

Her “Basket of Deplorables” remark insulted perfect strangers who preferred DT to her…lovely woman.

BO’s also no stranger to disparaging and insulting remarks. Even the left criticized him when he compared his bowling to the “Special Olympics: “No, no. I have been practicing…I bowled a 129. It’s like — it was like Special Olympics, or something.”

          “The Cambridge police acted stupidly…”

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends…”

          “…they bring a knife, we bring a gun…”

“The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person…”

“I don’t believe it is possible to transcend race in this country. Race is a factor in this society. The legacy of Jim Crow and slavery has not gone away. It is not an accident that African-Americans experience high crime rates, are poor, and have less wealth. It is a direct result of our racial history.”

“That’s just how white folks will do you. It wasn’t merely the cruelty involved; I was learning that black people could be mean and then some. It was a particular brand of arrogance, an obtuseness in otherwise sane people that brought forth our bitter laughter. It was as if whites didn’t know that they were being cruel in the first place. Or at least thought you deserving of their scorn.”

…white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…”

“…If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

‘…it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them..”

Obama dismissed anyone who said he was lying about Obamacare as a “kook”…he called Tea Partiers “terrorists.”

He took the occasion of the funeral for the five murdered white police officers in Dallas to lecture white America and cops about racism against blacks…and those officers were targeted for being white while protecting black protesters!!! What a class act. huh?

You’re entitled to your opinion, Libby. But your memory, as well as your facts, are quite selective.

The reality is most politicians are on record as having said stupid, sometimes hateful, things. Just stop pretending that your guys are pure of heart, cause we know better.

    • Tina says:

Soros could spend that money improving conditions in these countries. He uses these poor people for his own political playthings instead…a pathetic globalist power hungry man.

    • Tina says:

      Perfect!

Did I hear it right? That 1/1000th or so native American of hers is from some Peruvian tribe or some other South American tribe?

Is nothing sacred to the left?

      • Peggy says:

Heard her DNA was compared to Europeans, not American Indians and that she had a lower percentage ratio than the average white American.

Heard also she ended any chance with a 2020 presidential run. Even members of her own party have turned against her.

It’s really bitter sweet watching members of a hate-filled political party being exposed for their own lies and deceit. The Dems’ lies have been exposed since ObamaCare when Obama received the WaPo Liar of the Year award and the Jonathan Gruber tapes were aired. But, no one held them accountable for lying to the people they represented. No one did until Trump. Trump calls them out and uses their lies against them.

It’s really entertaining watching Trump use the Dems’ mode of operandi against them. He slings their own words back at them. Libby and the rest of the Dems aren’t used to a Republican fighting back and they don’t like it.

I didn’t like it either in the beginning and is the main reason I didn’t vote for him. He wasn’t very Republican. Then the more he began fighting back against the hate thrown at him by the Dems, their lapdog media and the modern day version of the KKK wearing black mask instead of white hoods I grew to realize he was fighting FOR me. He was standing up against the liars instead of rolling over and walking away from the fight like every prior Republican. And he was winning the fights one by one.

For the past 10 years I was ashamed to say I was a Republican. I began calling myself an Independent and a strong fiscal conservative. Not any more. Today I’m a Republican and proud of it. I will vote all Red down the ballot, without hesitation.

      • J. Soden says:

Yeah. The famous scientist (unnamed) didn’t use any American Indian DNA for the test.
        Next, I guess Fauxahontas will claim she’s a Mexican . . . . . .

  2. Libby says:

Oh, Lordy … off topic, but must share.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, The Donald’s good buddy and best customer … and a person of such global import as to been frequently ID’d by his initials … MBS …

    Mr. Bone Saw

He will never go to jail, but the poor bastard will never live it down … one likes to think.

    • Peggy says:

Where was your outrage when journalists Foley and Sotloff were beheaded by ISIS, Obama’s buddies when he was president?! Remember the $$$$ billions Obama gave Iran to support ISIS and other terrorist organization.

And where was your outrage when Hillary and Obama secretly shipped weapons to Libya to kill Qaddafi? Remember Hillary laughing when she said, “We came, we saw, he died,” Where was your outrage when those same weapons were used by terrorist to kill four Americans Benghazi? “What difference does it make?” They’re only Americans, move along.

You and your party are such hypocrites. You scream outrage for a foreign journalist killed in another country when Trump is president, but say NOTHING about five Americans killed by terrorist when Obama sat in the Oval Office.

      • Libby says:

“Where was your outrage when journalists Foley and Sotloff were beheaded by ISIS, Obama’s buddies when he was president?! ”

        Groundless prejudice … also paranoid.

And then we can talk about your political and moral … apples and oranges … a head of state IS NOT a passel of hooligans … or shouldn’t be, anyway. You do this all the time, and it’s very irritating.

Frankly, if Prince MBS is behind this extraordinary stupidity (never mind the grisly immorality), I’ll bet the Old King is reconsidering his options.

      • Peggy says:

Correction. Should have said, six not five Americans killed by terrorist when Obama sat in the Oval Office.

  3. Tina says:

Libby: “Denial of objective reality is not a defense.’

Sorry Libs, a complete accounting of what actually transpired, link included, is not denial. And the captured stills from video of Trump (rather than the full video) are obviously meant to deceitfully support the false narrative. The spin on the story is pure partisan BS. Your party is working overtime trying to gin up hate. It’s about the only thing your good at…creative hate generation. How proud you must be.

“What are we going to do with you people?”

Why, what you always do…demean, mock, harass, assault, and generate lies and misrepresentations. God knows you have no ideas of merit to put forth, nor any desire to work honestly or deliberately to solve problems. Hate and an unseemly desire for complete power is all you seem to desire.

    Sad, really.

    • Pie Guevara says:

I thought Lippy’s “denial of objective reality” retort particularly amusing. As if she were ever objective about anything or even had a tenuous grasp on reality. Reality to Lippy is anything she wants to believe is true.

Regarding voter fraud by Democrats, this is just in —
Texas Dems ask noncitizens to register to vote, send applications with citizenship box pre-checked

This is definitely a threat to the Republic. Texas isn’t going to be the only place with voting fraud committed by Democrats this cycle and I expect voter fraud to become SOP from the party of criminals and thieves.

The Texas Democratic Party asked non-citizens to register to vote, sending out applications to immigrants with the box citizenship already checked “Yes,” according to new complaints filed Thursday asking prosecutors to see what laws may have been broken.

The Texas secretary of state’s office said it, too, had gotten complaints both from immigrants and from relatives of dead people who said they got mailings asking them to register.

On the other hand… I do not see the incivility and the inciting of mob violence by Democrats as a threat to the Republic. I believe that the Democrats and the left will end up destroying themselves with their totally unhinged anger and hated. My hunch is that a significant majority of Americans are fed up with this despicable lunacy of intimidation, mob violence and the politics of personal destruction from the left.

So, Lippy (and Hillary, Waters, Holder, Spartacus, Pocahontas, Feinstein, Schumer et al.) please continue with my blessing and enthusiastic support.

    • Libby says:

“Sorry Libs, a complete accounting of what actually transpired, ….”

So what do we have to do? Post the clip? You are a … willful misrepresentor of objective reality (the long version) … just like your liar of a president.

      • Tina says:

Once again…you did not read the article I posted that gave a full contextual accounting of what was said by the President and then what was done by the left media and activists to spin the story and demean the president.

Instead, you willfully choose to dismiss the reality in favor of that which fits your belief system.

Such blind hatred is unhealthy. Your twisted idea of reality and the things that matter most in a leader will not gain ground with voters. These are petty issues and not uncommon in the atmosphere generated by your party and the former administration that pitted groups against each other at every opportunity!

POSITIVE RESULTS in the things that matter in our every day lives…jobs, higher wages, more opportunity, enforcing laws, defeating enemies, and establishing fair trade…is what matters.

The ugly rhetoric in politics has been going on since long before Trump came along. Your party owns a lot of it. Our politics have gotten more and more vitriolic now but it has more to do with the radical left turn your party has taken and the disgusting methods and activism your party uses and promotes. It gets even more intense as people stand up for themselves in response to your radical ideology and vicious deceitful methods. Push has come to shove because the sore loser Democrats lack grace and are filled with hate.

  4. Pie Guevara says:

Re Lippy “What are we going to do with you people?”

Tell us please, Lippy, what ARE you going to do?

  5. Pie Guevara says:

Far be it for me to defend Trump’s behavior in this instance, but he did not mock Serge Kovaleski’s disability. He had never met the man and was unaware he had any disability. He did ridicule him using the same form of ridicule he had already habitually heaped upon others.

The Rats politicized Kovaleski’s disability the same way they politicize children, politicize women, politicize illegal aliens, politicize anything and anyone they can use as a tool.

That said, Trump made a complete ass of himself over his “thousands cheering” remark. 10s of thousands of leftists and Democrats were cheering, just not publicly. I personally knew more than a few. Disgusting, vile creatures these Rats and leftists like Lippy (who was more than likely cheering too).

  6. Tina says:

Making as “ass” of himself could be a tactic. It certainly has helped to move the agenda forward and put the element attempting to transform our republic by any means necessary on their heels.

Now, I neither approve nor endorse Trumps “body slam” remark. Nor do I approve Gianforte’s assault. But you endorse and defend the encouragement of violence by the Democrats now don’t you?
