Greenhouse Gas Levels DROP Under Trump EPA Management

Posted by Tina

Democrat lie: The republicans want dirty air and dirty water. They don’t care if little kids with asthma can’t breathe…

The Truth: The latest data from the Environmental Protection Agency show that greenhouse gases emitted from American factories fell in 2017:

The EPA sampled more than 8,000 large factories and found that emissions of greenhouse gases had dropped 2.7% from 2016 to 2017. Most of the decline was due to reductions in CO2.

“The Trump Administration has proven that federal regulations are not necessary to drive CO2 reductions,” said EPA action Administrator Andrew Wheeler. “While many around the world are talking about reducing greenhouse gases, the U.S. continues to deliver, and today’s report is further evidence of our action-oriented approach.”

Rejoice, Libby!

The major factor for this beautiful result is technological advances.

It isn’t the Paris Climate Accord (politics), Al Gore (politics), punishing regulation (politics), taxes or carbon credit schemes (politics), UN resolutions (politics), climate change models (politics), or a so-called consensus (politics) that make a real difference. The solutions to environmental problems always lie in common sense approaches and innovation. America has always been a leader in this regard.

The left radicals have politicized, weaponized, and monetized environmentalism unnecessarily. Their methods don’t do anything but divide people and separate them from their money.

The American way works better, both for the environment and for individual prosperity and health!

Carbon dioxide is not the throttle or driver for climate change. Any claim that it is the throttle is either junk science or outright fraud. You do not have to be a climate scientist to understand this. C02 is a red herring and CAGW (Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming) is both wrought with fraud and junk. It is the biggest black eye on science in generations.

    • Pie Guevara says:

By the way, C02 concentration in the atmosphere is not a cause for health problems. It is, in fact, a necessary component for life. A 1% change in the average concentration does not mean squat. A 1000% change in average concentration doesn’t mean squat. If you are looking for Armageddon ( mass planetary extinction climate change, whatever), C02 increase has never been a driver, always a result. In fact, with regard to climate change, increased C02 concentration heralds a recovery from climate disasters.

If you seek Armageddon, try taking a look at super volcanoes, asteroid collisions, precession of the Earth’s axis, sudden tilts of that same axis and the migration of magnetic poles or output from the sun. You know, that big huge bright yellow furnace that revolves around the earth? (My apologies to Galileo, is was mocking witch-coven, curse tossing nudniks.)

Lastly, the earth and our solar system is dynamic, not static nor “balanced.” The only “balance” is that when positive feedback changes occur, negative feedback changes eventually reply and balance the change. The system is far more complex that we, at present, can imagine. Or at least so called climate “scientists” can imagine.

Good News! Although with all of the political BS spewing from politicians since it’s an election year, you’d think the hot air would increase!

  3. Cherokee Jack says:

I may have mentioned this (two or three hundred times), but an irrefutable constant in the universe is change. The climate of this planet has been changing since it became a planet. So now we’re going to stop it by passing laws?
How about a law to repeal the law of gravity? Imagine the benefits. No more obsessing over weight loss. Weight would be obsolete. The cost of airline tickets would plummet (obviously it could only plummet figuratively.) And I wouldn’t need to get out in the yard and rake those damned leaves next month.
I wholeheartedly agree that pollution is undesirable. So I’m boycotting San Francisco until someone cleans it up.

    • Pie Guevara says:

Repealing the law of gravity, now there is something I could vote for. But who needs to vote? With the right lawsuit maybe we can get the SCOTUS to declare that gravity is a pollutant that can be regulated by the EPA.

(Oh wait, that judicial lunacy may no longer be possible. Dammit! Thanks a bunch, Trump.)

  4. Libby says:

I do rejoice … over the effects of O-era policy.

About T-era environmental policy, we will not know for some years … you flaming ignoramuses.

    • Pie Guevara says:

He he he he heee! O policy brought this about. What a maroon.

      • Pie Guevara says:

By the way, I love it when Lippy does the Obama suck-up shuffle. That dance is so predictable. As we all know, O was (and is) the second coming of Christ (um, er, Mohamed?) to the pious true believers. Get on your knees and supplicate along with Lippy to the Great O Post Scripts!

    • Cherokee Jack says:

Libby, I don’t understand why you use hate speech to say hurtful things about us. We can’t help it if we were born dumber than you. I think you could use some time in a re-education camp, and maybe take some anger management classes while you’re there.

      • Pie Guevara says:

Please Lippy, may I have some more?

      • Libby says:

Please … “ignoramus” is not hateful … it’s factual. In fact, the only one of Trump’s policy changes that will have any quasi-immediate effect is the tax cuts … and guess what? … the deficit is, already, spiking:

        https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/15/economy/us-budget-deficit/index.html

Now, a willful, as opposed to flaming, ignoramus would call this “fake” news. But I’m afraid that it is the truth.

And tell me … what do you think about your Prezzy’s performance the last week or so? … I am actually quite gleeful. He’s sounding more McCarthyite every day, and while it took much too long, McCarthy was appropriately dealt with.

        • Tina says:

          “the deficit is, already, spiking”

No more than it always does and for the same reason. Our government spends more than it takes in…always!!!

Obama’s first four years saw large deficit spending ($1200 billion). He can claim declining deficits (after republicans took the House) but the rising debt continued reflecting excessive government spending.

Mercatus Center, “Debt and Deficit under Obama Administration”

…publicly held debt almost doubled during President Obama’s eight years in office—it went from $7.5 trillion in 2009 to $14.1 trillion in 2016. … The necessity of funding Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and increasingly Social Security explains much of this growth in debt. Going forward, unless Congress and the administration undertake reforms that address these four key drivers of debt, the burden will continue to increase.

How many times does this have to be explained before you get it?

          • Pie Guevara says:

Clearly VampiraLippy does not “get it.” Where were her heaps of scorn for deficit spikes and a near doubling of the national debt under the Great O? Suddenly a Rat is concerned about deficits and debt??? OH PUHLEEESE!

I nearly bust a gut laughing. VampiraLippy has suddenly discovered government spending!

We have a few more years to go to see how things settle out, Tina.

        • Pie Guevara says:

Where were you Lippy when under Obama the debt nearly doubled?

  5. Tina says:

If ever there was a group of McCarthyites it is the radicalized Democrat Party, what with the targeting of whites, conservatives, deplorables, cops, conservatives in Hollywood, MEN in general, women who won’t bend to the will of radical feminists…
